I've been here before and it's been fine, but my family's experience on Saturday night was not good. They had one waiter for the... entire second floor - as a result, our food came to us lukewarm, bordering on cold. Not his fault; he was trying his best andneeded more help. One pasta dish was so cold that we returned it, and the replacement dish was rushed and the pasta undercookedand not eaten. The vodka sauce for penne had no salt in it. Pizza was slightly undercooked. Some drinks never came despitefollowing up twice. A bit of a mess of an experience. Read more

I like the atmosphere of this Italian restaurant it's a little nouveau upscale Italian decor. The menu is average for choices.... With mainly selections of Italian food which is nice or Mediterranean style food. The pizzas are very good appetizers are goodagain average for province area. I like going here because the food is somewhat consistent and again not overboard in flavor andtaste but again a place where pretty much satisfied when I go with friends. Service was a little slow this particular night butI've been there on several occasions and service was always good. I prefer the pasta Beach of Newport especially during thesummer I think the atmosphere there is above average even for Newport and the energy level during the summer in the Newportpasta Beach is to me over the top especially around Tennis Hall of Fame season. Again this is about the food this particularvenue and write up so food is average you won't be disappointed but again not over the top and the atmosphere again is slightlyabove average as far as decor and sense of feeling and relaxation for an evening out with a date or friends. I cannot say enough nice things about this place. The atmosphere was fun and energetic, the staff was friendly, they have... outdoor dining, parking is super easy there is a public lot across the street and I believe it is free. The food was amazing Ihad the eggplant pizza, she had one of the pasta dishes, and we started with polenta. The cheese fondue for the polenta wasreally good. The food came quickly and they accept reservations which I would recommend. Check this place out you will not bedisappointed. Keep up the nice work. Read more

So many people had told me I need to go here because it’s amazing. The pasta was all right. Pizza was great though. $7 for a... bottle of sparkling water. Maybe I didn’t love it because I had it hyped up so much before I went The bread they bring to thetable is not great and does not seem to be made there but they bring like balsamic etc and it was free so I guess it’s fine. I spend a fair amount of time in the Wayland square area, and somehow it has taken me this long to finally have Pasta Beach.... Really wish it hadn’t taken so long to give it a try. Unlike the average experience at a pasta restaurant, I left wantingmore. I had the Bucatini Cacio E Pepe and besides it being so simple and perfectly cooked, it was also the perfect amount ofpasta. Enough to satiate you without feeling like you need to unbutton your pants. Also ordered during this visit was the PastaCarbonara. It was a little more smoky than I cared for, but still good. Throw in a couple of glasses of good wine, and it was agreat visit. Staff was helpful without being overbearing, knowing just when to pop by Read more

Relaxed and tasty! I came to this place with a friend on St. Patrick’s weekend and the vibe was just everything. The staff was... super welcoming and patient. Their drinks were really good, specially their specials. I did not have any of the food, but myfriend lively their lobster spaghetti! My cider and Sangria were perfect. If you are looking for a laid back meal experience, this place is pretty good. Read more

I’m from Newport RI and have only been to Newport location of Pasta Beach until tonight. I find the atmosphere in Newport to... be more inviting as far as one of my preferred experiences, however it’s usually just my boyfriend and I and we tend tofrequent places that are more “romantic” in nature, an atmosphere that is intimate and cozy. The Providence location doeshave an inviting, warm and welcoming vibe lending itself itself well but due to the high ceilings and overall nature of theinterior, I feel it's best for a night out with friends or family gatherings for special celebrations. We were seated at a hightop and we did enjoy our time there. First ordered was a specialty grilled peach lemonade drink, made with Ketel One Citron, StGermaine, grilled peach purée and lemonade. It was very good in taste but very light on the alcohol. I understand a light pouraccompanying the $13 price tag being in the city of Providence but I would much prefer to pay higher prices (ie: $15 drinks inNewport) if it meant tasting more like I've ordered an actual cocktail. It was light, tasty & a refreshing summer evening drinkthat I would have otherwise continued to order more of but I stopped at one because I wanted an alcohol drink not a glass oflemonade. Next up was the Caprese salad which we requested be made with buffalo mozzarella. The waitress confirmed it can bedone for an up charge and they will use the buff mozz that is normally made in a pizza. It was very good in taste however Ididn’t like that the tomatoes were cut into chunks for the salad. I expected slices since this is more traditional, howeverit's my fault since their menu clearly stated chunks which I obviously glazed over. Truth be told I would never order this againbased on my experience and go with a Burrata salad next time. We also ordered the Buschetta al Pomodoro. The bread was verygood, served warm and with just enough texture to make it a welcomed chewy but yet light bread. The flavors were grea Read more
