Really enjoyed the food from here. Beef stroganoff was fantastic which is what I got. My significant other got fish and chips... which he said wasn't the best and that the jalapeno tartar sauce you could not taste the jalapeno. However my dish wasabsolutely fantastic and I would reccomend going here. It does get a bit busy during dinnertime. Service was prompt andprofessional I would go here again. Read more
After searching and deliberation, I can confidently say Red Stripe has Providence’s best calamari, namely because they fry... cherry tomatoes and hot peppers with the squid. Divine! I dream about their truffle burger at least once a month. With goatcheese, and the option to sub a chicken breast— it’s like it was made for me. I also always enjoy the service/bartendersthere, a few of which are long standing. Plus the rewards program is a nice treat so sign up! I do miss the days of $10 burgerand a beer though.. Read more

Came here for my birthday. Very busy it looks like they were perhaps short staffed which is every where really. The employees... really were working together and trying to give their best. I had the salmon and my husband had a burger. The fries were alittle cold but overall the food was ok. Read more

This was an overall good experience that was very much on par with the few other times I've dined here. I took my sister to Red... Stripe for a thank you dinner. The place is casual yet upscale, which seemed perfect for the occasion. While the food isn'tcheap, it is well priced for the quality. We started with the Calamari, which isn't the best I've had but is still quite good. Ihad the Paella, which was full of flavor, meat and fish. It was much more than I could eat in one sitting. My sister got theRatatouille Ravioli, which she enjoyed. Our waiter was pleasant, helpful, professional, cordial, and knew when to show up. Myonly complaint was that the runner--the person who actually brought the food--didn't give us plates for the calamari, nor didshe give me a bowl to put the shells from the muscles and clams. Although I've never has this issue when eating here in thepast, it did give me pause and had to mention it. I tend to think it was her first day, but how does someone not know to bringout plates for an appetizer? Read more
