We had wonderful cocktails and food when we stumbled upon Sarto. Tim was our bartender and the Old fashioned I had was expertly... crafted. Atmosphere and food are A+. The cacio e pepe it’s a must! I was extremely satisfied with my visit, would give 5 stars but... service was lacking. Sat at the bar, ordered drinks and got it about 20 minutes later, only because the manager asked how wewere doing. Read more
One word, exceptional! The service was impeccable from the moment we walked in. I think all the staff are happy with what they... do and it shows in their dedication to making this a true dining experience from start to finish. We started with a cheese boardand olives to later delight ourselves with a delicious pasta with mussels and second the porchetta…both incredible dishes! I really wanted to like this restaurant but it was disappointing. Although the food is authentic, for the price, the food was... extremely underwhelming along with small portions. We went on a Thursday night and went around 6:30, and it was dead, maybe 3tables in the restaurant. We heard staff saying how slow it was that night so it didn't seem typical. However even with very fewpatrons the service was very slow. The menu is also pretty small although that is most likely a by product of the current globalsituation.Overall very underwhelming. 10/10. Great atmosphere, wonderful service, and food that is to die for. The gigli al pesto e pollo was amazing as well as the... carbonara fries. The bartender miranda was super friendly and attentive, this place is a must if visiting Providence, or for areliable place after work for drinks and phenomenal food.
