Went here for the first time the other day to celebrate my anniversary. Made a reservation for 5, we got there a bit early but... they sat us down right away. Our server was really nice I wish I could remember her name. My boyfriend had never had sushibefore but I have, we got the firecracker roll to try. We loved it. So much that we had to get another one ???? my boyfriend gotthe meatloaf and he liked it as well. I had a bite of it and it was super hardy and flavorful and the pile of crispy onions wasgood as well. I only got the California roll since I had pretty much filled up on the firecracker. Definitely a bit pricey butit’s so worth it every now and then. I also might’ve been over dressed, I knew it was an upscale restaurant so I decided towear a black dress. When we walked in we were surprised to see how laid back classy it was. The atmosphere was very nice. Overall I cannot wait to come back for another firecracker roll ???? Read more
This was an amazing experience. The food, the atmosphere, the waiters, the drinks. Overall this restaurant blew all of my... expectations out of the water. I ordered a variety of sushi dishes for my visit and they were just incredible. "The Prime Roll"tasted absolutely amazing with a hint of heat the blew the flavors to another level. The "Over The Rainbow roll" just took mybreath away as well. The roll itself had a wonderful mix of flavors with the variety of fish on them but the Beef Cappacio ontop really took the cake with this roll. Whoever had the idea to mix the two needs a raise. To top if off I also ordered twoclassic Claifornia rolls and they were superb and spot on. Miso soup was also pretty good, good things really do come in smallportions. The staff was amazing as well, very attentive, patient and kind. Essentially this place had it all, amazing food,amazing staff. It's pricey but don't be afraid to splurge on good food. Read more
Our host did a great job explaining specials and drinks...we tried a lot of the food and it was all delicious. Definitely... recommend the filet and the snake river sirloin that my buddy got was amazing. The brussel sprouts side was a highlight as well.Delicious! Bonus: the valet was free and very quick. INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. Our server was phenomenal; she provided us with... suggestions and her personality made our dining experience even better - funny, witty, personable - she was phenomenal. Our appswere fantastic - my wife got the "Over The Rainbow" sushi roll and I got the "Hot Rocks." For entrees we both chose the 10ozwagyu flat iron. We both prefer rare and are often frustrated when we ask for "as rare as possible" and then get somethingcloser to medium rare.
