Just had an amazing dinner at Spindlers! It was exactly what one would hope for from a an epic meal. Right off the bat, Harrison... (host & waiter), the bartender (name unknown), and the 2 kitchen staff were amazing!! Seriously, a staff of 4 running alloperations while they had a party of 16 plus additional guests , all the while being super friendly & welcoming! This is whattop tier hospitality looks like & all other restaurants in the area take note!! The food was delicious & best mole sauce i’vehad outside Mexico & my home! The cocktails are were equally delicious!! Support this amazing restaurant & bar! It’ll betotally worth it! Read more

Not gluten free friendly! We called ahead and made sure this restaurant was equipped for our friend with celiac disease, they... said they were on the phone. When we arrived and checked during ordering the server let us know that there is no way foreverything to be truly gluten free as they all use the same fryer. We had to leave because our friend could not eat there. So,taking off points for being lied to about gluten free, but 2 points earned back because the drinks were really good! Read more

The New Mexican Fusion Menu at Spindler’s is truly revolutionary. I’m not one for trying new things, but I dove right into... this new menu and it was truly a delight. The Octopus main dish is definitely one I recommend, along with some small plates toshare (the chicken Taquitos were so good!). The cocktails were fit for the meal (we ordered the honey badger). If you’revisiting Ptown and enjoy some great Mexican food, I urge you to make a reservation ASAP. No Read more

This place has traditionally had amazing seafood. I really wanted to love its re- imagining. This year ira transitioned to... Mexican. Is a risky move for New England. I'm from New Mexico and the desert southwest, have traveled all over Mexico eatingand cooking. The dishes look pretty decent, the effort is obvious, and the staff (start of season) try really hard and arevery sweet, though chaotic. The food flavors are I'm not quite sure what.... Interpretive? Oysters we had were off andshould not have been served, the mains had Mexican names but are REALLY far from authentic or even Interpretive, and while Ican say the corn tortillas are quite tasty (one of the three or four marks of a good Mexican place), the flavor profiles and presentation though beautiful, were way off and missing how the dishes should taste and are actually eaten. Highly recommended. For dinner, it's an elegant Mexican restaurant and the dishes are delicious. Stylish but warm atmosphere,... and the way the building is divided into different spaces is such that you never feel on top of another table. Excellent, creative cocktail menu. As great as it was, my only source of dissatisfaction was that we spent too much money to feel asrushed as we did. Yes, our reservation was in the last hour of the night, so it's understandable the staff wanted to close up,yet they invited us to run up our tab with appetizers and multiple rounds of cocktails, even suggesting more cocktails late inthe meal, so it felt like they wanted to maximize our spend while also not wanting us to stay. Nonetheless, I still recommend itoverall. Read more

I’m giving this place 2 stars. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and my husband the vegetable lasagna. The meatballs were... still a bit raw inside and everyone at my table agreed the sauce tasted like Chef Boyardee. It had a similar taste. The pastawas overcooked and the waitress eventually brought me another plate of meatballs. The bread was good, the wine glass could havebeen filled more for $14 a glass, but the service was good. I wouldn’t come back here unless there’s isn’t anything elseopened in the winter. Read more

This food was delectable! I got duck, and a variety I of options were served to our table from duck panzanella, pork tenderloin,... and jumbo shrimp! Starters included a spicy and flavorful patatas brevas and bruschetta and rich poached pear...none were adisappointment and the plates were clean when we were through with them. The cocktails were on point, from a round of Aviationto Elderflower. And to top it off, we ordered the key lime pie, house made peanutbutter cheesecake, and chocolate lava cake. Thepeanut butter cheesecake was a personal favorite and as someone that loves cheese cake, fair warning that its on the sweeter andsofter side (as opposed to richer and thicker). The key lime pie was more tart than sweet, and the chocolate cake was servedwith ice cream and was spot on! Finally, we closed the evenings with a roubd of coffees, which was all delicious and kept usgoing long into the evening. If you're in Ptown, you won't be dissapointed to enjoy a meal here! Read more
