Normally Baskin-Robbins serves us well. Today they did not! I ordered a cookies and cream fudgenut with some decorative items on... it for my grandchildrens birthday day. My kids love to come here, but it is a bit pricey. We love how many choices there are, and I love that each flavor has an... allergen label. You can ask for samples to taste the different flavors. And in the 31st of each month, scoops of ice cream are31% off. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. My mother in law ordered a ice cream pie for my husband?s birthday - one of their standard signature pies. They told her they... had never heard of it before. Then they said ?okay,? and looked it up and found it in their data base and said that they couldmake it. When she asked them to write on it they said ?we don?t do that.? So my mother in law arrived at 11 AM to pick it up.They were closed until noon. Their information was inconsistent. So when she arrived to pick it up, they told her they hadn?teven made the pie because they didn?t have pie crust? it is the week of Thanksgiving, and they don?t have pie crust, okay, I getthat. The called the Orem store and they didn?t have pie crust either? but the real problem was, they never called my mother inlaw back to inform her of the incomplete order, nor did they offer replacement options, apologize, or try and offer anycompensatory solution.
