Great food and awesome service. It isn’t cheap but it is delicious. Our server was fast and friendly. Portion sizes were... generous and the drinks were great. We will be back again to try out the rest of the menu that we couldn’t have because it alllooked and sounded so good. Read more

Very good food. Southwest food flare with emphasis on Navajo fry bread meals. Good pork, beef and chicken options. The sweet... potato fries are off the chart. Try the street corn. Read more

This is a great little restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff is awesome. Our waitress Sam was terrific. She knew the... menu very well and was super helpful getting some special accommodations for my order. The food was delicious. Fun note… The young man at the table behind us who was talking very loudly was trying to impress his date by regaling her with... his favorite episodes of How I Met Your Mother… And how he was trying to improve his signature so people could read it…Don’t be this guy. Instead order some food! Wow! Native American inspired cuisine…? I had no idea what to expect. Westarted with an Arnold Palmer and chased it with a Black sheep salad. Excellent. The Tres Tapas Sampler was great. Basicallyit’s three fried bread tacos each with a different type of sauce- one barbecue (Which was surprising this sweet), one greenand one red… All delicious. Note this is not Mexican - it’s more nuanced and delicious. It’s a cool menu and there is somuch left to try. Hog Jowl Nachos? I hear they are delicious, but I wasn’t in a jolly mood. Getting these next time. By theway the service was outstanding and the interior is funky cool. Read more

I wanted to take my wife on a date to a local restaurant that we’ve never tried. I discovered Black a sheep Cafe and the idea... of Native American cuisine sounded interesting. We ordered the spicy shrimp and cheese grits as an appetizer, which wasoutstanding! We ordered the chimichanga and blue tortilla enchiladas, both of which were also very tasty. We had a side ofRosemary fries, which were okay. Overall, the food was a very good portion size and tasted fresh. It was all delicious and wewere happy that we came. Prices were a bit high, which we expected, but it was a great experience. Would definitely come again. Read more

Although we didn’t make a reservation and the place was busy, we were seated very promptly. The waitress was friendly and... helpful. We had the hog jowl nachos, which could have been a little hotter but were otherwise delicious. My wife got the steaktacos and enjoyed them, I got the traditional Navajo taco with green chili pork. It was very tasty, the rice and beans wereflavorful. Pretty pricey but the food is high quality! Plus, not many places you’ll find authentic fry bread. Read more

Their Navajo tacos are their most popular menu item but their burgers are their hidden gem. The blue burger is absolutely... amazing. It's got some sort of sweet jam, with crispy bacon, and a perfectly cooked patty. THE ABSOLUTE HIGHLIGHT are the sweetpotato wedges. They are by far the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, it'ssimilar in consistency to deep-fried plantains. My only compliant is their inconsistency. Sometimes their burgers have 3x thelettuce than meat and last time I went, their sweet potato wedges were burned. Read more

I was in Utah and wanted to try a Native American restaurant. Black Sheep did not disappoint. Coming from NYC, we are definitely... food snobs. We shared a lavender honey fried bread and it was light and tasty. Our waitress recommended the G.O.A.T burger andnot only was it huge, it tasted really good. I would definitely go back to try more.
