I have been eating here religiously for years. A couple months ago my roommate found a beetle in her food. It was gross, but we... decided just to forget about it because we?d never seen that before. I came again a couple weeks ago and found a moth. I askedfor a refund and it never showed up in my account. I love Cafe Rio and we eat there at least once a week- but I?ve had it with this location! They never get my online orders... right! Never. Either they forget to do shredded lettuce, or don?t include the extra dressing or forget an entire entree, ordon?t drain the lettuce and beans and you get a soupy gross salad! I?m just annoyed that it?s all about speed now, and notaccuracy. Unless you go in and watch them make your food, don?t waste your money at this location. Read more

Worst customer service in the entire world. I usually do not have a problem with this cafe Rio but the employees here and the... worst. I had employees laughing in our faces ignoring us and walking away half way through making our orders. And don?t even getme started on how they left old food on the grill that had been sitting there for at least twenty minutes and still served it tosomeone. Brought up my issue with the manager and the first time she sent her employee back to talk to me instead of coming andtalking to me herself. Then the second time she came and talked to me and honestly didn?t solve a thing instead of offering arefund or anything she just blankly started in my face. Drive thru is a joke. The only way to get an order right at this place is to go in and watch them make it. Girl taking orders... was a bit rude- we asked to change the meat choice on one of the burritos we ordered. She said we couldn?t change it because itwas already being made. Hello- It was literally ordered 15 seconds prior to asking for the change and please explain the 3 carswaiting in the drive thru in front of us. She just didn?t want to take the time and change it on her end. And because of it wegot half-rolled burritos Next time you go in- take a look at the drive thru kitchen- It?s a sloppy mess. Read more

I normally have a great experience at this location but today I was more than disappointed. For starters I placed an online... order and had to wait an extra 30 minutes after my scheduled pickup time for my meal. Then I had to remind the employees that Ihad purchased a drink. This was particularly upsetting because at this time there were clusters of employees laughing andgoofing off. I figured you know what it's fine I can wait and it's human error to forget the drink. I get home and start to eatonly to realize MY RICE WAS UNDERCOOKED. It was actually crunchy and inedible. I couldn't even get more than a few bites in.Nobody likes hard undercooked rice. I didn't have time to go back to the store especially after another 30 minutes of my timehad been wasted waiting there. The purpose of the online pickup is that it is supposed to be efficient and it was not and thenon top of everything I didn't even get the meal I payed for. I got something that was inedible and unacceptable. Not planning ongoing back to this location anytime soon as I'm not trying to waste any more time and money on undercooked food andunpredictable takeout services. First I want to say that I love Cafe Rio! Because of this I have let Cafe Rio know what is going on at local store. They served... me with this kind of lettuce. It was orange color! There are more orange lettuce underneath. They didn?t give me sour cream aswell. I?ve never seen employees don?t add sour cream to Tostada. I wasn?t satisfied with my meal that day. Pretty upset with my most recent order. Usually its satisfactory. But this visit was really disappointing. I never got my... receipt even though I asked for it. Holy cow. I am in love. I really wish we had one of these close to where I live in NC. The food is spectacular! It?s so cool to... watch them make the tortillas fresh in front of you, they are some of the best tortillas I?ve ever had. The portion sizes areamazing and I loved the flavor combinations.
