I ordered two ice cream cakes from the Provo Cold Stone 24 hours in advance for my mother-in-law?s birthday to be delivered at... 6:30 pm the next day. 30 minutes before delivery time, the Door Dash driver sends us a message saying the cakes aren?t ready andwon?t be for a few hours. I had to call Cold Stone because they never reached out to me. I was informed ?the system? didn?t putour order in until 5:30 pm the day of delivery and that it would take 4 hours to bake. I explained that I had a confirmationemail from Cold Stone that was received at 7:45 pm the night before. The ?manager? of the store never apologized or explain whythe mistake happened. She did allow us to switch out the cakes we wanted for ones that were pre-baked. When I asked what theywould be doing to make up for this terrible customer service she replied ?Well it wasn?t anyone in particulars fault. It was thesystem, so there?s nothing more we can do.? Needless to say this was a super frustrating experience, and I won?t ever order acake from them again. Read more
The ice cream was good, but the service not so much. It was more chaos than order with seven employees. They were good and... getting the ice cream but nobody was at the register. A line formed behind the register and there was a bit more goofing offthan should be when customers are not being helped. Read more
This place has great ice cream and horrible service. If there are 3 people informs of you, expect to wait 15 minutes just to... order. My wife wanted a specific flavor for her birthday on a Wednesday. 1 hour wait for 12 people in front of us in line. Themale employees spent more time flirting with the girls in line than working. I personally love this location because they have chocolate cake batter ice cream in stock every time I go. Other locations I?ve... been to rarely have it. I always get birthday cake remix and switch the regular cake batter to chocolate cake batter ice creamand it?s honestly heaven. Read more
A fine ice cream establishment. Quick service late at night. They ran out of whipped cream so they graciously let me pick an... extra topping instead. They offer many flavors to choose from, so there?s something for everyone. Got the lucky charms mix,which was fun to try. Extra marshmallows made it better. Read more
We go here because the mutual dates app has a coupon, but I really don't know why we think it's worth it. The last two times... we've gone have not been great. The first time I saw a couple bugs in an ice cream tub as the kid scooped up the ice cream.Needless to say, I lost my appetite. The second time the kid serving us (who looked like he was 13), threw away large chunks ofthe cookie dough and brownie that was mixed into my ice cream before giving it to me. Then he was so busy flirting with the girlhe was working with that we had to grab the girl's attention to pay for our ice cream. We could've easily walked out withoutpaying and they wouldn't have noticed. Just go to Handel's ice cream. It's so much better. Read more
We came in on 2/10/22, and the staff was awesome. My girlfriend and I were super impressed with the customer service, and will... likely be coming back because of it. I forgot to ask for their names, but we did come in around 6:30 on a Thursday night.Everyone knows the ice cream at Coldstone is pretty good, but experience as a whole is what?s gonna keep us coming!
