Went into store, no one to be seen. Must have been hiding out of site paying more attention to a phone or something like that. I... had to say something, then he kind of jumped into view from my right side (south). I also had to say I had ordered one bluecheese and one thousand island for the dressings, but he corrected by giving the one that was missing. I've worked as a pizzacook, my pizza was out of the oven long enough he could have already topped it will tomatoes and had it cut in a box. The Nob Hill pizza absolutely SLAPS if you eat it hot. Big fan of their lunch buffet. Have to say, the exterior isn't very nice... and the service is always reeeeally slow or understaffed, but the taste of the pizza keeps us coming back. Pizza was good. Service was below average. Two guys were working. No napkins or kids were stocked and had to have myself and... another customer asked for those items to be stocked. Ordered a jumbo and wasn't offered any of the deals that come withpurchasing a jumbo pizza. I then had to ask about the free cheese bread after I.paid because I happened to see the little flyerson the other side of the counter. They seemed reluctant to make it, but agreed to do so, and I also later saw that there was adeal for a 2 liter as well that they did not offer. Read more
It?s really a shame to see what has happened to this place over the years. 7-8 years ago this place was the place to be. Pizza... was good and the service was good. I?m not sure if it?s under new management or what but the food has seriously taken a hit andthe service is even worse. The past two times I?ve placed a take out order and come to pick it up ?the receipt didn?t print? andI had to wait another 20 min for them to make an 8? pizza. Coincident? I think not. I noticed this place is for sale. Hopefullysomeone who knows what they are doing can take over, change the recipes back, and trail competent employees. Read more

Pretty disappointing pizza. Looked great, heard good things but was not good. On the meat pizza, it seemed like the rest of the... meats were just placed on top of an old pepperoni pizza. Huge amounts of it were so soggy I didn't know what was bread and whatwas cheese. The toppings and cheese tasted odentical to Papa John's. When the dough wasn't soggy, it was decent but it was soggyalmost everywhere. Only good thing was the sauce which was pretty solid. Everything tasted super old. Not a great experience. I was the only one there when I walked in and stood at the counter for 5 minutes or so before one the... guys pretended to finally notice me. It did give me enough time to notice how dirty the counter and equipment was though. Iordered online and my pizza was ready when I arrived but felt the need to check the pizza before walking out. Good thing I didbecause the pizza was missing half the toppings including the sausage I paid an extra $2 for. I confronted the staff about themissing toppings and poor quality and was given a $15 gift card that I will not be using. (Only reason for two stars) they alsothrew some tomatoes on that where missing but it just was kind of weird cause at that point the pizza was cold and they justkind of rolled around the box loosely Pier 49 was a great place but longer is and I feel the good name was used to take $24from me in return for something of lower quality to a $5 hot and ready. Delicious food, short wait. We love the Golden Gate and Alcatraz pizza. They?re garlic bread is really yummy. We?re never... disappointed when we eat here. Read more
