We love Shoots. The food is fresh and delicious. They are rarely over crowded. (I hesitate saying that because I like it that... way, but also would love for them to stay in business) eating in is best because you get free wonton and sweet and sour sauce. So good. The egg drop soup is great and we live the pan fry noodle dish ???? Read more

Everything was great. The service, the food. The "chips and salsa" (sweet and sour sauce with puffy crispy squares) is something... i don't typically see at Chinese restaurants and a nice touch. I enjoyed the hot and sour soup. The eggplant dish was verytasty. The portions were perfect for lunch. I'll definitely be back. Read more

I don’t understand the recent low ratings. If they want quantity over quality, then go to Panda Express or some other fast... food Chinese place. This is a sit down restaurant…of course prices will be higher than fast food. Shoots serves family stylesized portions where you order a few entrees for a family and everyone shares. So far they are the best tasting Chinese foodI’ve found in Utah County. Their tangerine chicken and Mongolian beef are amazing, and the chow mein is truly delightful.I’ve had two of their soups, both of which were really good. I’ve had several other entrees, all of which were great. I’vebeen a repeat customer and will continue to come whenever I want better quality than something like Panda Express. Read more

Food was ok but portions were TINY. I paid over $16 for what's basically a frozen TV dinner sized portion. When I asked the... waitress about the portion size her response was "well you came to us so I guess that's your problem." I will not be returning. Read more

$15 for what looks like a lame lunch portion (Black Pepper Beef). This was the dinner portion of meat… I put every piece of... meat from the griddle to the plate when it came out to see how unbalanced the meal was. Green peppers and onions made up most ofthe plate. I was so disappointed I am leaving a review, which I have done only once for any restaurant I’ve been to. Waitressgave me my food and never returned to check in until I asked for my check. I actually remember going here for take out on NewYears a couple of years ago. My family of four was still hungry after 4 entrees and an appetizer. I gave them the benefit of thedoubt for it being a holiday but I will never return after this visit. Money vs. service- not impressed. Read more

Very frustrated with my experience at Shoots. Have been to the restaurant 3 times now. Really enjoy the food and appreciate... the gluten free options. We've ordered takeaway once before, and were disappointed with the portions as they were significantlysmaller than the in person portions even with the same price entrees. Was at the Riverwoods today and decided to give theirtakeaway another try. The restaurant was mostly empty so I made a point to order an extra (and extra expensive) dish to try tohelp a local business. When the order came out, checked the boxes to make sure everything was there and commented to thewaitress that the "side of broccoli" with the firecracker chicken looked like literally one piece of broccoli that had been cutinto 3 pieces to look like more. She tried to explain away that it was supposed to just be garnish when the menu saysspecifically the dish comes with a side of broccoli. Then double checked that the rice was for the 2 dishes we'd ordered thatwere supposed to come with rice and she said yes even though the portion looked barely enough for 2 people. So I asked forextra lettuce thinking that my more expensive order and generous tip would be sufficient to be able to spare some extra iceberglettuce and she checked with the kitchen and then told me I'd have to pay extra if I wanted any. Good thing I didn't get anyextra lettuce anyway because the portions for the $10 chicken lettuce wraps were only enough for about 3 wraps. It seems absurdthat a $50 meal made of 3 entrees would not be enough portion wise to feed 2 average adults and one 2 year old. If you'rewondering, the $18 honey walnut shrimp is no exemption to the tiny portions. Good food, would love to see this local businessthrive and also treat their customers better, with a more generous mindset. Probably will not be coming back. Read more

First time going. I have a regular place down in Provo that I love and so I was hesitant about trying a new Chinese place but... Shoots did not disappoint. The price is what you’d expect out of a restaurant in this location. We got the shrimp tempuraappetizer (Japanese I know but it was pretty good) and it comes with various fried vegetables as well. I got the Black PepperSteak dish that came out on a skillet. The flavor was fantastic. My wife got the Fried Tofu dish and the tofu was cookedwonderfully. We ended up getting the special tempura cheesecake for dessert and it was fantastic. Honestly I’d go back foronly dessert that is how good it was. All in all I was impressed and will more than likely be back. Read more
