Always satisfied with the food here. I've only gotten take-out, but done so several times and really never disappointed. Chicken... and biscuits should be a stock photo & review for perfect Midwestern comfort food... open faced turkey sandwich was just fine(not great; just fine though!) the side salad w/house dressing is unique because it includes water chestnuts (although theyshould drain them better!) and the house salad dressing is unique but very good. Never had breakfast here yet but heard onlyraves and noted plates of blueberry pancakes big as Frisbees float by as I was waiting for my order to-go. Looked and smelledterrific! Not a big restaurant and always very crowded here during peak season and weekends especially, and really no spaciouswaiting place. But it's worth the wait if you can (it never seems very long); staff here is always super friendly andaccommodating year-round; "up north" kitschy woodsy decor is so appropo for the Houghton Lake all-season resort community. It'snot just fine and dandy food, but also a fun north woods experience to eat here. Read more
Great service and food. Always very busy for breakfast. I had an omelet made to order and it was perfect. They also have... Dearborn ham. Hashbrowns were prepared perfectly. Golden and crispy. The over easy eggs were prepared as over easy. Manyrestaurants over cook them. Bacon was cooked to perfection. Read more

I have family that lives in the area and we went out to breakfast, one of the best breakfast burritos I have ever had and... everyone else was very happy with their meal. Cinnamon bread is off the chart good! Highly recommended local restaurant. Read more
