Terrible experience. The owner, who was our server got us a drink and kept ignoring us. Finally we payed for our drinks and... left. We were there for over a half hour and never even got a menu. We are very patient knowing how everyone is understaffed butwhen I tell you twice that we want to order and you don?t even respond it?s time to go. My husband and were in town visiting from Tampa and needed a place to watch the hockey game. The owner and her staff couldn?t... have been nicer in accommodating us. When we arrived we discovered a good old fashioned, down home, up north bar! With itscollege themed sports decor and shuffle board game, it had that ?everybody?s welcome come on in? vibe. We met some really funpeople and had a blast but the real draw here is the food! Awesome burgers and THEE BEST fish & chips I?ve had in a long time! We were in the area and looked for a burger n a beer place. Stopped here and glad we did. Beer was cold and they had those ice... tubes in the pitchers which kept our beer good n cold til it was gone. Can't comment on the burgers, it was Taco Tuesday and wehad those instead. Both the hard n soft shell were good and well worth a couple bucks a piece. Our server was Brittney andalthough being relatively new, was cheery and quick to serve us. We spoke briefly with the cook, another server and the owner,all three appeared to be happy to be there. (Unless of course they're good actors!????) We will be going back.. Read more
