Beer brewery and tap house located directly on Pueblo’s Riverwalk. This place is really special, especially because Pueblo... doesn’t have many options like this. I believe the building used to be a police department, but has been totally remodeled,seems like new construction. The restaurant/bar area is spacious and has a cool vibe. The have outdoor seating directly on theRiverwalk. They also have an indoor live music venue with a band line up. There is also a coffee shop/cafe located inside thebrew house. Place seems cool, only went in for a beer and appetizers, but glanced at the menu, it's pricey! The beers we had were ok,... however the pretzel and sausage were fabulous! We also got some deserts to go and they were tasty as well. Venue is on theRiverwalk so that's a cool factor, we really didn't get good seating due to a private event so we had no "view". Went for early dinner on a Saturday and had no issue getting seated immediately. Servers were very friendly and quick. Per the... server's recommendations we order the blistered shishito peppers, Brues Alehouse Burger w/ sweet potato fries, and theAll-American Drive in... w/ regular fries. Every aspect of the food was well made. My partner enjoyed his beer and I ordered the'Linda's Escape'. There's group of who would enjoy this but I prefer something a little less sweet and more crisp for a gincocktail. Ultimately good but not for me. I think the price points are a little high, but not enough to deter me from stoppingin should I find myself in Pueblo again. Read more
Came here for a work event and it was great! I would highly recommend the Pueblo Green Chili soup, it was absolutely phenomenal.... I also had the Turkey Bacon Sandwich which was good, but again the green chili soup was the real deal. One of my coworkers gotthe slopper and said that it was also amazing. I know I will be back! Brues Alehouse Brewing Co My family of 3 stopped at Brues on Sunday evening at 8pm expecting a closing time of 10pm.... Unfortunately, we were turned away due to a closed kitchen. I used the reservation service on their website to reserve a spotfor the following evening. I wasn’t prompted to choose an outside table, so I was disappointed to learn outside seatingwasn’t available to us. The interior environment is just a bit busy and loud. Our server was attentive, made wonderfulsuggestions, and though our food took a very long time (1:15) she made sure we were not forgotten or anxious. We opted to havetwo Absinthe Forgotten mixed drinks and split our choices of margarita shrimp tacos, fig burger, fries, and a salad. The drinkswere absolutely delicious and perfectly created! So impressed. The food was also delicious and the portions above average. Thetacos were so fresh and overstuffed. The burger was generous as well. Cost: $75.00 While we will definitely be returning for theoutside experience I do feel that without our determination to be customers the business would have easily lost a loyal familyof returning business. This is the second time my wife and I have been and we've enjoyed it both times. The food has been very good and they have a... great selection of brews and drinks. The view from the upper bar area is relaxing and beautiful. I highly recommend the shrimptacos. I recommend making reservations ahead of time. Or do what we do, sit above the river walk, have a few drinks and wait fora table. I was told if you want dessert, order them as soon as you sit down. They will hold them until you're ready to eat them.The desserts are hand made and go quickly. Read more
