We had quite the interesting experience last night. We were really craving some delicious chicken and mashed potatoes and gravy.... We drove to the closest Popeyes which is supposed to be open until 10pm, and they were closed. A sign was posted at thedrive-thru saying they closed at 8pm. I call the Popeyes on the other side of town. They tell me the dining area is open until10pm, and the drive-thru closed at 11pm. It was a Saturday night, so that made sense. We pull up, place an order for the 11piece family meal. The worker informs us they only have 6 pieces of chicken. My boyfriend says we're willing to wait until theycook more. We're then informed that they are not cooking anymore chicken. I'm shocked, they're open for the next hour and45min...and will not be cooking anymore chicken?!! We say ok. We'll order two 3-piece meals. She then let's us know the onlyside they have is beans and rice. ???? What the actual hell? We just said no thank you and drove away. What's going on Popeyes? Read more
I ordered an 8pc Nugget meal. Took 15 mins to even get my food and when I did, the chicken was raw and undercooked. I called the... store for a refund, and the manager Lilliana was very rude and unprofessional, she agreed to give me a refund and when I went itto get the refund, she was rude told me I needed to wait until she was done doing what she was doing. She was very rude andunprofessional, and again took me almost 20 mins to get my refund. Read more
Okay folks, I really want to leave good reviews for people but I could not pass this one up. When we arrived we went to the door... to only find it locked. We have been traveling and Popeyes is my husband's favorite eatery. So at least the drive-thru was open.It would have been great if there was a sign on the door saying maybe drive through was open or an explanation why there was nodining in. I can only assume it was because they were short-staffed I don't know. Next we get in the car and go to thedrive-thru. Initially a man was on the intercom trying to help us but was putting us off by saying an item wouldn't be ready for15 minutes or so and they didn't have this or that and eventually a lady got on and basically corrected him and that may havebeen why he was in the mood he was. The woman helped us place the order that we wanted and we were asked to park while it wasbeing prepared. Then the man came out to deliver our food. There was no thank you or is there anything else I can get you or anyother comment he made besides handing the food to us and basically stomping back to the building. We were not given the correctreceipt, we were not given any straws for the drinks and we were not given the dipping sauces that we had asked for. So, we hadto drive back around to the drive-thru and ask for these items. There was no sorry there was no nothing but a deep sigh comingfrom the gentleman again as if we were inconveniencing him once more. My husband so wanted to get back in line and tell him ifyou don't like your job find another one but I convinced him not to do that. But I do agree if you are unhappy where you workplease search out a job or a field of employment where you can have a smile on your face and have a good attitude. I ordered food off of DoorDash , didn?t receive my food for a hour. I didn?t want to get cold food and didn?t wanna wait... another hour for just a sandwich, drink and a small mash. So I canceled it , my bf ordered me the same thing off of Uber eatsknowing it would b faster. just to find out , half way through my meal it was cold. Wasn?t feel good nor hungry anymore. Welooked at my receipt that was in the bag. to find out, Popeyes didn?t make me fresh food. GAVE ME MY OLD ORDER THAT WAS SITTINGOUT FOR A LITTLE OVER TWO HOURS LONG. as someone who use to work in fast food, the food should have been remade regardless. theold order should of been thrown away especially when it was cancelled. I really like Popeye's Spicy Chicken sandwich. Unfortunately today's sandwich tasted old and the chicken was soggy. Although... the food wasn't great, my issue is the service. I called ahead of time to ask if they had chicken sandwiches because thehighway 50 location was out when we went there. I believe I spoke with the manager who was very pleasant. Once we got to therestaurant, the placing of the order and getting the food was not pleasant at all. Nothing angers customers anymore thanstanding at the counter and not getting so much as an acknowledgment from the staff that they'll be with them in a moment. Youjust stand there! Then once they begin to help you there's no smiles and they aren't friendly. In addition, our order wasincorrect. So guess what? We had to stand at the counter once again and were ignored. The same thing happened to thecustomers who were in line before us. The saddest part is it's not just Popeyes. Customer service is suffering throughout thisindustry! Not only is the cost of everything very expensive, you get lousy service and you're at the point where it's easierand cheaper just to eat at home. Read more
This Popeyes is the worst one in town I don't know how they get fake 5 star reviews when they clearly can't get orders right.... Today I got hard biscuits as usual and part of my order was missing. Drinks tasted like an old flat soda because the machinethat clearly needs cleaning but never gets cleaned. They refused to give me my money back so I sat at the window and refused tomove until I got my money back for the missing and old food they served me. They called the cops and got told I wasn'tcommitting a crime. Got my money back after 15 20 minutes and now I'm going to call the health department because Karen wants totry me like that! I'm priority now huh? ???? As others have said sometimes they don't even have food, at least 2 things on themenu are always out at any given time. Done. I'm not one that generally likes to leave bad reviews but my experience yesterday was far less then even mediocre. Went to... Popeyes and ordered a 4 piece chicken dinner. Asked for mac and cheese for a side and they were out so I got mashed potatoesinstead. Fine.. when I asked for coke they were out of it.. Asked for sprite instead and got that resolved. Ok.. When I left Iwas eating my chicken and was questioning why I only got 3 pieces... maybe the employee misheard me... I literally found myfourth piece of chicken hiding under the breast which wasn't big to begin with. I don't know how they even got away with servingthis tiny wing and even the drumstick I got was smaller then average. Then I go to take a sip of my sprite-nothing butcarbonated water. I go back and let them know about my sprite and get it replaced with lemonade (my boyfriend's orange soda waswatered down so I didn't wanna try that) and the lemonade tasted gross. I'm not one that is generally picky at all but this isridiculous. Photos only show 3 piece of chicken. Also, the employee needs to work on her customer service skills because she hadan attitude. Spent $62.00 !!! For STALE CHICKEN, BAD COLE SLAW and OLD BISCUITS !! They threw the biscuits ON TOP OF THE CHICKEN!The 2 new... blackened chicken sandwiches were great! Probably because they were new! I called the manager, she couldn't have cared less thatI drove 40 MILES ONE WAY! to get this meal!! I also called the complaint department that is in CANADA!!!
