My husband and I went here for our 21st anniversary. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, inviting and even a bit romantic. Our waiter... was quite attentive but not so much that we didn't have space to talk. He refreshed our drinks frequently and made sureeverything was to our liking. We started by ordering the spinach artichoke dip to start, it was different than anywhere else Ihave ever ordered it from and came with what appeared to be seasoned sopapilla strips. The dip was thick, not soupy or stringy,sticky or overly cheesy and absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Best I have EVER had anywhere. Then we ordered drinks, we got what's calledthe flood. It is silver rum, gold rum, passion fruit juice, orange juice lime juice, and a black cherry liqueur. It was amazingtoo. After some consideration we ordered our main course. We got the tomahawk ribeye for two medium rare. It also wasdelicious!! It had been blackened due to the dry rub compliment I asked to be added but paired with their 21 butter it wassuperb.... And I don't even like blackened food!!! Our side was the potato croquettes. The pepper jack cheese oozed from thecenter like white lava and absolutely melted in your mouth. We decided that we would then take a look at the dessert menu, alsosomething we don't normally do. But we figured what the hey, why not. So we got the Vanilla Porter cheesecake which wassublimely done to perfection and Nana's midnight chocolate and espresso cake. I don't even like chocolate cake but it was themoistest, divine cake I have ever eaten. I will never eat chocolate cake anywhere else ever again. It was that good!!! In themiddle of our dessert a woman whom had been working and walking all over for our visit approached us and apologized for notcoming over to us sooner and wished us a happy anniversary and blessed us by not charging for one of our desserts! My wife and I visited 21 Steak to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. Everything was just as is should be. Our waitress was... decent. The food was excelent. The restaurant's soft lighting gave it a romantic ambience. We enjoyed our visit and will return. Read more
Often when I go to a fancier restaurant I don't feel like the staff connects with the guests. The staff here makes you feel like... old friends. They even gave us an anniversary card. The food is more amazing then my limited writing skills could ever begin todescribe. This is going to be our anniversary spot, birthday spot, our for the heck of it spot or whatever reason we can come upwith spot for a long time to come. Let me start off with the fact that both the ambiance and acoustics were incredible. The lights were perfectly dim as to not... strain the eyes but also bright enough to see well. There were 5-6 other couples there and my wife and I never had to raise ourvoices to hear each other, and that was with music playing overhead as well. The service was absolutely phenomenal, shout out toour server Reid. He was very attentive and gave great advice when it came to picking dishes. The appetizer, blistered shishidopeppers were splendid. The steaks were cooked perfectly and paired with amazing enhancements as they call them. The sides weresimply exquisite, we had the wild mushroom risotto and the potato croquettes. The dessert, chocolate cake and flan, wasabsolutely to die for!!! Drinks were delicious as well and the speed of the meal was very well paced. Really wonderful place...great food, service, and atmosphere! I could tell the staff are well taken care of because they each... seemed truly invested in providing an amazing experience as a part of a whole team. Loved the local charcuterie board,especially the pimento cheese spread. Try the Grey Ghost martini. The rolls were sooo good, too! Read more
My man took me out to celebrate our one year anniversary here and they really outdid themselves to ensure it was a great... experience! Our server was Jade and she honestly would be the only reason i wouldnt give this place a 5 star rating due to hernasty attitude and obvious snide remarks towards me in front of my man. But shortly after the owner (whom im assuming it was atleast) was the female in the animal print top and black leather pants came to our table and chatted with us for a few minutesand really showed sincere gratitude for us coming in their for our first time ever to celebrate our anniversary so there isabsolutely no way i would be able to give this place anything less than a 5 star rating!! The food was amazingly delicious, thewine was spectacular, the great customer service we received (not from Jade obviously) from other service staff/cooks/and theowner made it one hell of an experience! The decorations were welcoming, the organization was superb, the whole aura wasopening, as well as the ambience really set the whole mood for us to have the picture perfect date night! Read more
