I've been there 3 times now. If it weren't for delicious food and generous portions, I would not ever go there. They are not... welcoming at all when we walk in. I stood there and 3 different people who worked there were at the register area and didn'tacknowledge me while I stood there wondering if I was supposed to seat myself. Finally I asked and they go ahead and seatmyself. The server was prompt and very sweet. The food was delicious. I got the meatloaf, mashed potatoes, creamed corn, andmacaroni and cheese. When I went up to pay I believe the owner took my payment. This lady is never nice. Doesn't look at you orsmile or ask how the food was or anything. Very disappointing. Read more
Very down home food and atmosphere. Streaks are a bit high but you get your monies worth! Lunch specials are already good and... reasonably priced. EXTREMELY friendly place to eat. Parking can be tricky and it's a no frills resturant but if you want greatfood without the hype check this place out you won't be disappointed. Read more
First of all, service was awesome. Lighting is chill, seats are comfy. Friendly BBQ diner vibes. Brisket is phenomenal, fried... green tomatoes are great! This place hit the spot. Huge portions! Been meaning to try it for a while but always appeared very busy and my luck time is usually pretty limited. Had hot roast beef... potatoes green beans and carrots...OMG you would have thought I had just sat down for Sunday dinner at G'mas! Large portionsthat tasted and appeared to be so homemade I looked to see if there was a garden close by! All this plus FRESH blueberrycobbler! Yep I'll be back soon! It?s was absolutely horrible everything was cold and dry very bland no taste and when I called to complain about it to see if I... can bring it back and give her a refund she Jackie the owner was an absolute b*+?h about it told me that it was serve as you goeveryone gets the same food so no one else has said anything and I get what I got no refunds!!! And then try to tell me that shejust ate some of the ribs and they were absolutely delicious and called me pretty much a liar with the food I won?t even feedthis nasty s**to my dogs!!! Great steaks and great BBQ, nothing I've ordered from here has been bad. The seasoning in the steaks is really good, steaks are... cooked the way you order and very juicy. The BBQ is rich in smokey flavor. Their peach cobbler is fantastic, Great service,friendly, courteous and fairly quick too. My tea glass never gets below half. Give this place a whirl, 2 thumbs up. Excellent hospitality, delicious food, and great service. The ribeye steak was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The... brisket was the best we?ve ever eaten; very tender and flavorful. The brown rice is a must. The house salad was delicious aswell. For those who like variety, I recommend the combo platter with ribs, pulled pork, & chicken. Definitely a ?must eat?restaurant.
