We ate here this evening on the deck and were very happy. We had a few drinks, the scallops, stuffed shrimp and “she-crab... soup” X 2. Everything was spot on and we live on the New England coast so very familiar with quality seafood. Our waitress wasKyle and she was excellent in all categories. Nice view over the habor. Great service. We ordered the steam pot and tuna salad poke. I love mussels but they weren't fresh. I... tried a few . Crab and clams were super fresh and good . Tuna was a delicious. I felt I paid more for a view than food. Read more
5/1/22 first time here. We sat outside at the bar. Nice views and cool place. I had the Pacific grouper wrap, good. My friend... had the fish tacos and she said they were good too. Fast and friendly service. Will certainly return. Read more
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful anniversary evening on the deck! And yes, I would absolutely recommend reservations any... time of year, especially for a deck table. The harbour views are really what make this place! I enjoyed the Steampot while myhusband had the Alaskan, both a good quantity of food. A bottle of wine and a few glasses of champs for a toast rounded out ourmeal! Our server was very personable, and once we mentioned we were there for our anniversary, he really went above and beyond,offering to take photos of us, in various settings enjoying our evening! Huge fresh made to order sushi menu as well as the restaurant menu. Party of 5 and ordered plenty of appetisers and mains and... ALL were absolutely delicious. Great value oysters (which were huge - compared to the UK where we were visiting from). Weshall be returning once more before we fly home this holiday! Read more
**Lactose Cheat Review** Preface: I have lactose intolerance and IBS but cant resist food so I take lactase pills. I write... about my experience doing this with various meals. Everyone is different with how they react, use your own judgement for yourown situation. We came here on our first night our for spring break. The place is striking. The first thing you see is themassive crab over the bar. Like what? Its a huge crab. Its awesome! Ha. Then you'll notice all the details around the placelike fish carved into the posts, etc. It is definitely something to see. Most reviewers post about their customer servicecomplaints. The hosts and staff in-general seemed stressed when we arrived. So I agree with other reviewers. The bartender inparticular honestly seemed angry. I think that this staff is just not used to putting a smile on. Then we got to our table andour waitress was very bubbly and friendly which changed things so we're back to a great review. The food was all really great. The lactose in what we ordered was minimal minus the butter with the lobster tail. I had one bite of that and my wife got therest. It was great but expensive (the tail was $25 at the current market price (Mar 2022).) I do recommend the captainsplatter but you can split that with a partner for sure. We ordered way too much food and strategized how to eat it. Wedecided to finish the sushi and take home the fried food. I highly recommend this place. Its great to take guests in town thatare visiting or if you're here on vacation. It wont disappoint. The view is amazing if you get an outdoor space. We were really looking forward to having lunch here. Stopped for lunch and it was busy. The wait time was shorter than... anticipated. Reservations are recommended. We ordered the crab and artichoke dip. I couldn't taste any crab in it, but it waspretty good. I had the Mahi Mahi tacos with sweet potatoes fries. My partner had the fried grouper sandwich. *Laishley Crab House was definitely good, and I plan on going back to try some other things on their menu... like things from... their sushi bar that looks amazing! *The meals were great but that soup was hard to beat! *Our waitress Skyler was super niceand helpful. *This place reminds me of Harpoon Harry's in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. So if you ate there and enjoyed it, youshould like it here. *Clean bathrooms. *There's a big Laishley's sign to the right of the building with other business signs tothe left of it.
