It's often been said speak to the locals for the best spots to go out.to eat. Thanks to a local, found this spot. Having been... to Punta Gorda for several years now, passed by this place several times while driving on Route 41 and never new it existeduntil my most recent trip. As many know, there are often great things at the end of a rainbow ???? and during my visit, therainbow end was at the Riviera! Opted to sit ar the bar and soon had a cold beer on tap Brooke, our server was friendly anddid a great job. Thanks to some recon, saw gooe reviews on the Calamari appatizer and the Lobster Roll. Bith were reallygood and when served with cold beer, made for a fun a great night out. Well definitely visit again. Other guests on out partyhas some good looking food and may pick from their land based items next time. Read more
My friend and I like to try new places every few months and critique the food, drinks and atmosphere. We came here today and was... not disappointed. Perfect lunch spot, the food was AMAZING!!! Bit of an off the road attraction. A little old Florida. Nicely set on the mangroves. Great outside tables with fans. $16 Shrimp... basket is excellent. Key lime pie pretty good. Skip the $10 Chardonnay served in a tiny cup. Very small pour. Read more
Beautiful area with amazing food! Tons of both inside and outdoor seating available. The grouper Reuben?!?!?!? Its a must try.... It was so delicious. The calamari was some of best we have had in florida. My husband enjoyed his crab cake dinner. The new Yorkstrip was sold out . Boo..... but the fish of the day was ordered and it great. Kind of hidden away spot. Nice water view. Everybody wanted to sit outside. They had a 30 minute wait. So we sat inside. Menu is... kind of steep. I ordered a sandwich it was the lunch portion. It had a small piece of lettuce on it. In my restaurant we throwthat part out. Read more
Didn't expect much when we got there. Once inside it was amazing!!! We were seated right away. The staff was amazing. Our server... Nichole was the best. She was very helpfulful, informative and just fun to be around. Lots of smiles and very attentive. Themanager, Mike was going from table to table making sure everyone was happy. ????????. We had the Grouper fish tacos that wereabsolutely wonderful. We had two appitizers. The smoked fish dip was great. The crab cakes were the best we have everhad...EVER.
