Good meal with good service. They have both inside and outdoor seating options and it is a very nice, clean place to eat.... It’s a lakeside vibe; probably because it sits beside a large reservoir or retention pond for the large community that it’sset in. I had their sliced prime rib sandwich, which was very tasty. My wife had the chicken picatta, which she alsoenjoyed. It isn’t inexpensive, but seemed worth it for the overall experience. It’s in the main “village square” areaof Babcock Ranch, which is a growing community in the Punta Gorda area. As a tip - it can seem like there isn’t much parkingbecause the small parking area in the main drag is usually full of the locals golf carts, but they have a large parking lot offwhat seems like the back side of their place. We had a great time. Staff was friendly, professional and fun. The hostess was so kind. She recognize my elderly mother... couldn’t stand very long and went out of her way to accommodate us. Her name was Sierra and she was so sweet. The food wasoutstanding. The lake house burger was delicious. We will definitely return. Read more

The pan seared salmon with creamy risotto was absolutely delicious! The salmon had a crispy sear with moist meat inside, and I... could have eaten the risotto all day long. I encourage all to give this dish a try. Read more

Our first time here so we were eager to check it out. The atmosphere is very pleasant and our server Olivia was even more so!... Upon asking for some menu & drink preferences, she gave very helpful advice. The drinking were excellent and very tasty, as waseach element of our meal. Upside: great food and atmosphere! Downside: Well…not a huge downside but our entrees came out a tadbit too soon as we were not even half way through our apps. Regardless, we are coming back for lunch and dinner very soon. Avery positive dining experience! Read more

Beautiful place with a lovely outdoor seating area overlooking the lake. Affordable prices and a professional and charming... staff - Crystal was amazing! (She checked on us regularly, brought all our food in a timely manner, and was super friendly).Staff were wearing masks and the entire place was really clean. The food was very tasty and worth every dollar. For apps weordered the Brussel Sprouts ($7) with cheese, pancetta, and balsamic dressing - it was divine. The Seared Salmon ($25) wassavory and crunchy, having a creamy risotto on the side. The Summer Salad ($10) was ordered with chicken ($5) and avocado ($1),and it was very airy/light and tasty! The salad’s chicken was well seasoned too and well cooked. I will definitely come backto enjoy the food and the excellent view. Read more

Our dinner today at The Lakehouse Kitchen and Bar was "eggquisite." All the flaws from our last visit were taken care of and... today's meal was beyond special!! Our server Dede is an amazing server who knows what the customer wants and catered to everysingle need of ours before we even asked. We started our date night with a glass of Sunkissed and Peanut Butter Rye; both wereone of the best we have had in a long time. The "sunkissed" was a perfect summer drink that one can enjoy any day. The "peanutbutter rye" surprised us as it was such an easy drink and felt like drinking warm bourbon peanut butter chocolate. For theappetizer, we decided to try smoked fish dip, caprese salad, and mac n cheese. The smoked fish dip was smooth and melt-in-mouth;a perfect summer dip. The caprese salad was refreshing and the basil sauce made it pop. Mic drop for the mac n cheese!!!! Wheredo I start with this dish? All I can say is that this was the best mac n cheese I ever had:-). The macaroni was al dente toperfection and the cheese to macaroni ratio was superb. What made it special was the bacon-onion caramelization topping. I willorder this dish again for sure!!!! For the next round of drinks, we tried the Babcock 75 and Espresso Martini; both were greatbut could not beat sunkissed and peanut butter rye, haha!!! For our mains, we went with the "egg burger." It was "EGGQUISITE." Aperfect oozy 63 degrees egg oozing on top of caramelized onions and melt-in-mouth beef patty. This was one of the best burgerswe had in a long time. The bacon jam, poached egg, caramelized onion, and a perfect medium patty made it the star of theevening. Before we decided on the dessert we had another round of drinks and this time, we tried the Lakehouse margarita and theLakehouse fashioned. The black salt on the margarita glass rim turned a simple margarita into a salty-sweet-refreshing blast offlavors. Lakehouse fashioned was an easy smooth drink:-) For our final round, we ordered the s'mores b Read more
