An absolutely amazing dining experience with friends! Great craft cocktails followed by excellent salads (chopped, Caesar and... brussel sprout apple), then delicious dinners and decadent desserts. Our dinners included the snapper special, miso salmon, ducktwo ways and filet mignon. All we're amazing! Desserts included gingerbread ice cream sandwich with sugar art, chocolate breadpudding and the night special chocolate mousse with devil's food cake and espresso crumble. Our first at the Perfect Caper and it was wonderful. Hubby took me to this restaurant for a formal birthday dinner and I simply... loved it. True to its great reviews, the ambience was quaint and the menu offered a nice variety. We ordered the Potato leeksoup, Mommas Chicken and Chicken Falouta which were delicious and the portions was decent too. The staff gave us very nicecustomer service. Peanut butter bites were my complimentary birthday dessert which was very cute and yummy. Highly recommend. Read more

Had a fabulous time and an incredible meal! The menu is so creative. We were a party of 7 and everyone thought their meal was... extraordinary. Wow! Our server Zack was great too; super attentive and friendly. We drove from Fort Myers to dine here and wewill return. We had a superb dining experience last night. I’m not a big masker but I really appreciated the courteous manner in which the... management handled their customers’ care. Upon arrival there is a hand sanitizing station and a box of masks. You are politelyasked to mask as you walk to your table. Upon being seated we noticed a sign explaining their policy and a wax paper envelope tostore your mask in while at your table. The menus were nicely printed on decent paper and then we noticed the server throw themaway after we ordered. Each person is given a new menu. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness. We started out with the A WarmGoat: Warm Goat Cheese In Herbed Oil, Roasted Garlic, Kalamata Olive Tapenade, Caponata & Roasted Peppers, Grilled Crostini Forsupper I ordered DUCK A DEUX FACONS: Crispy Confit of Duck & Garlic Marinated Duck Breast, Wilted Greens, Whipped GoldenPotatoes, Lentil-Pancetta Vinaigrette, Thyme Jus. All I can tell you is that eating this was like a symphony in my mouth! Myhusband ordered up PIG & FIG: Grilled Berkshire Bone in Pork Chop Topped with Bruleed Mission Figs,Potato & Carrot Gratin, BabyKale, Fiji Apples Stone Fruit Glace’. This was equally spectacular! A small town with an incredible restaurant. Ever since moving to Punta Gorda I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the local food... scene but this place has brought that to a new level. From the start the drinks were incredible and complex to the appetizerswhich were difficult to choose from since they all sounded amazing (they were). Really blown away from the creativity in thedishes and the layering of flavors that kept changing on my pallet. Crabby scallops was probably the best scallop dish I canremember in a long time. Finished off the meal with berry poblano dessert that was perfect. I also have to mention the service,as Gabe was a 10/10 server and should teach classes. Can’t wait to be back. Read more
