An unexpected find when we were not even looking. My wife and I stumbled across BIA when walking around Purceville earlier this... week. After coming back for a date night we were pleasantly surprised by the delicious and unique offerings at, what wouldotherwise appear to be a hole in the wall, establishment. Will definitely be revisiting again. Read more

I went there for lunch and was BLOWN AWAY by how good the food was. I had the pasta special and it was amazing. I still don’t... know what was in it, but it was delicious!! My husband’s fish and chips were tender and not at all greasy. My mother in lawgot the shrimp and orzo and the shrimp was perfectly cooked and the rest of the ingredients fresh with the flavors perfectlyblended. I highly recommend!! Going back to try dinner - This may be my new favorite spot in Purcellville! Read more

My wife and I enjoyed our dinner. Everything was very good overall. I have couple suggestions though: 1. Get rid of the raw... rosemary, used in most of the plates(I would use butter fried sage or micro greens instead…eatable petals…anything elseeatable) uneatable plants in a plate is a NO NO in top end restaurants 2. The windows need blinds. Late afternoon hours ifseated by the windows, the sun is right in your face. As a business owner myself, I wouldn’t hurt a local business that justopened up….I was just expecting a little more. Some of the food came out cold, and for the price paid I expected a bit morefancy in some of the plates. We tried all the seafood dishes. The highlight was the trout. The trout was indeed worth everypenny! The worst dish “from the sea” were the stuffed clams. My wife liked them though. The ground meat for the stuffedclams wasn’t my cup of tea. We will return to try all other dishes. I will make sure to mention from the very beginning “noRosemary sticks and please bring my food hot”. If that would be taken care off, we should have a stellar experience the nexttime. The drinks were exceptional ! We only had Cocktails and beer. We haven’t tried any wines. Deserts were very nice! You’ve got to try the Churros! It is not an ordinary churro! Read more

Wonderful food, warm and inviting atmosphere, and excellent service! Looking forward to going back soon! I had the NY strip... steak which was cooked to perfection, slightly crisp on the outside, juicy and to order on the inside (spot on medium), babymixed potatoes and brussel sprouts accompanying it were quite tasty. The wedge salad was perfectly balanced and fresh (not toomuch dressing). The appetizers, particularly the charcuterie board, hit the spot! Read more

What a fantastic atmosphere and menu. We have watched the transformation of this building going on for almost 2 years. The... wait was well worth it! The thought, talent and attention to every detail has culminated into a warm, cozy and classyenvironment. And the owners are upholding the experience by not letting it get overcrowded - so don’t be offended if youcan’t get in at 7 pm on a Saturday, you will appreciate it once you are in ! And you can make a reservation! Thanks to theowners and staff for investing in our special town and creating a great option for casual but elegant dining and socializing! Read more

Brand new upscale European style bistro occupies an old building in the old town of Purcellville. The inside is fully renovated... and very appealing with exposed brick walls wood beams and details all contributing to the bistro look. Tables are generouslyspaced and chairs are very comfortable. The welcome starts at the downstairs door opener for you on arrival and continues withevery staff encounter on your way to the table. The servers are nicely dressed in black with long gray aprons, adding to thebistro atmosphere. There is a full bar service for cocktails and wines, but we had already had a happy hour earlier so we sadlyskipped a very tempting variety offered by our server. Food is served in small plates, as we were aptly informed by our server. However at least for the two dishes we had the portion size was more than a typical Tapas plate. For a starter we had CevicheScallops which were very tender and in citrusy marinade . The dishes are brought out at as they are prepared, we like thestaggered delivery of the dishes, but we had long waits in between the dishes- could be they are still working out some issues. On the other hand reasonably slow serving may not be a bad thing all together as it facilitates conversing like it used to bebefore fast food took over. For main courses we chose two dishes: the Bia Mix Grill and the Duck confit. Both were excellent, however the duck was exceptional, and should not be missed in our opinion. The bread basket was a bit of a miss - bread was notwarmed or out of the ordinary. Moreover the Mix Grill is served with slices of bread which are a very nice feature, especiallywith the jam and mustard that accompany it. In our case though, because of the long wait the bread basket was complimentary - avery professional and appropriate gesture! The desserts are not featured on the menu, and we picked the daily offer of BerryCobbler with vanilla ice cream, served on a small hot iron skillet. Realizing the place is Read more

Amazing ambiance and food. Truly, what more can you ask for in a restaurant? Very welcoming upon first arrival with a friendly... doorman there to greet you! You will feel right at home with local artists paintings on the wall. If you find yourself wantingto take a piece home with you, you're in luck - you can scan the QR code on the art and purchase it. All that aside, the foodwas delicious! The warm bread came with honey and butter on the side. The Kitchen Greens salad was accompanied by a light andairy dressing. The Grilled Bavette Steak came with peas and potatoes - cooked just the way I asked. The chocolate cake dessertwas very decadent and the dream of a chocolate lover. Already looking forward to my next meal here! Read more
