Probably some of the rudest customer service I have experience in Purcellville, and I grew up here. I placed an online order at... 9:35 this morning, and received notification that it had been excepted, and would be ready around 9:55. I got there a littleafter 10 and they said it still wasn?t ready and it probably wouldn?t be ready for another 15 minutes, which is fine, but afterrealizing what time it was, I don?t have time to wait. I called several times to cancel the order a woman finally answered andsaid very rudely. We don?t take orders on the weekend by and hung up the phone and didn?t even let me talk. Did not say hellosaid nothing. I?m only trying to call to cancel this order because I don?t have time to wait 45 minutes. There is no option tocancel online. We loved this place but I don?t think they?ll be getting anymore of my business. Read more
Nice bagel shop, they offer gluten free bagels, which is definitely a plus. They just opened recently, so it\'s a little sparse... inside. It\'s also a bit pricey, I had a breakfast BLT on a gf bagel. $15 seems steep for a breakfast bagel. Read more
I expected so much more from Bkd Bagels. My family frequents their More Better restaurant often, so I had high hopes from their... bagel place. Unfortunately it was nothing like what I expected. I got there right when they opened and ordered a half dozen. Thebagels were cold and soft. They tasted like they were baked the day before, and they were dry...they don\'t have the consistencyof true bagels. For $3.50 per bagel, they\'re not worth it. I get better bagels at Wegman\'s. Was excited to try this new bagel place as I am a bagel fanatic. Since it was my first time I decided to just get a bagel with... cream cheese toasted. The bagel was small and did not taste like a true boiled bagel and the cream cheese was not great either.Was not a fan of the whipped. So disappointed as I was excited to see a bagel shop in my area. Overall the bagels were very good - I had a dozen with a mix of everything, cheddar jalapeno and salt. My only criticism - and... it\'s admittedly a matter of personal taste - but the salt bagels did not have nearly enough salt on them. A good salt bagel -based on my experience and humble opinion - should have salt reminiscent of a hard pretzel. That\'s why you purchase a saltbagel - salt should be the primary taste. Read more
