Gorgeous property that sits high up on the Appalachian Mountain Range. You wouldn?t know it?s there unless searched by Google... Maps because there are no signs on 340 by the turn entrance. They have several different types of pizzas to choose from. The onein the picture is the meat lovers pizza ($25). Depending on the schedule or day of the week there is live music and a bonfireburning. Plenty of areas to sit either indoors or outdoors and the views are breathtaking! I really wanted to like this microbrewery just for their outstanding outdoor seating area overlooking the Shenandoah river. ... Unfortunately I couldn't do that as this is a single most expensive microbrewery I've ever went to. They had 10 different brewson tap, which were a pretty good mix of lighter plus darker brews along with a couple seltzers. Most of the brews for pleasantto drink, relatively low alcohol content, with the exception of the barley wine which is really strong. They do have a kitchenwith food and a pepperoni pizza will set you back $20. There were also a couple food trucks that were relatively expensive buthad really good food. So if you're in the area there were stopping by but there are better choices. Read more

Awesome view! Having a beer while sitting on a mountain is hard to beat. Pizza and beer pretzel was really good. Beer was... solid. Nothing really above amd beyond and about half of their beer taps were empty but the two types of beer I had, IPA andPale Ale were good. Read more

My Girlfriend and I stopped by Harpers Ferry Brewing on Saturday 7/2. SERVICE WAS GREAT.. VIEWS ARE SUPERB... DRINKS = NEED... MAJOR IMPROVEMENT... The 3 Stars I am giving is for the Excellent Customer Service & the AMAZING Views of the Potomac River &Mountains... However... After 2 flights... The only thing we moderately enjoyed was their Wheat Beer - Dunkelweizen. I didn'tlike that they used plastic cups for the flights and for their full size brew pours.. They should be using glassware the showstheir logo so that people will take pics of their flights / drinks and people can see the logo, that's just good advertising.The cupcake pans were clever but yet again a missed opportunity to get in some advertising.. I like breweries that use the nicewood paddles with the logo of the brewery on them.. The main reason you open a brewery is for the BREW.... But when the Brewisn't delicious, it doesn't really doesn't make you want to come back.. The alcohol content levels were super low... Under 5%for most of them, those are amateur #'s.. I do not want to be rude by saying all this, but its what entered my mind while I wasthere and I have been to many many breweries and seen how other breweries do it right... I had such a great time at the Harper Ferry Brewery. The beer selection was on point and so delicious. The flights were the best... way to sample a variety of beer they have. If you're hungry definitely get their pizza and all this while enjoying a beautifulview. Read more
