Great restaurant with a warm cozy ambience. Food is delicious and tastes like it is made with the utmost care. Lots of menu... options that I can’t wait to try next time. They gave us this custom printed menu for our anniversary which I thought was avery good touch. Long wine list and lots of creative cocktails. Will definitely come again! Read more

This place was good. I came with my 2 kids. We ordered shrimp& scallops, fried green tomatoes, kids pasta with marinara sauce,... kids grilled shrimp, bread pudding, cream bruelee, and coffee. Overall, it was a good meal. We had an issue with the check butour server fixed it right away. We definitely will come back. Read more

The restaurant was very good. All the food was well made and fairly priced. I enjoyed the cocktails. The service was great and I... enjoyed the entire dining experience with one exception. The third floor private rooms get very warm. Uncomfortably hot even. This is not likely to be a typical dining experience though unless you have a large party in the middle of summer so it's notworth lowering the rating. I would definitely dine again, on the ground floor. Read more

Tremendous. Really liked this place and am looking forward to coming back in the future. Looks like they try hard to use... locally grown ingredients in all their dishes. Large seating area including a second floor, an outdoor patio, and indoorseating. Also has a bar area. Portions were generous and quality of food was excellent. A definite recommend! Read more

Had a wonderful dinner last night! We ordered 2 entrees and the kitchen was kind enough to split them for the two of us so we... could share easily. We ordered the Prime Rib and Salmon Oscar and it was delicious. The portions were quite large as well. I had a Sangria with my meal that was quite refreshing. The service was prompt and attentive. The atmosphere was quaint andrustic. The bathrooms were convenient and clean but could've used more on a busy Friday night. Reservations highlyrecommended!! All in all, I can't wait to go again sometime soon! Read more

In the land BBQ restaurants, the restaurant with salads is king. Nice wait staff. Not notable but good food. Relaxed but elegant... dining experience. If you’d like a 3.5 star option, Magnolias won’t disappoint. It’s a nice restaurant worth a visit. Read more

First and foremost, ask for Samantha! She is key when it comes to true blue hospitality and service. I have studied hospitality... and she gave me some pointer’s by just sitting back and observing the way she served to the others at the table. Overall thefood was beyond great but importantly the cocktails got my attention very quick!! They put art into the cocktails they reallllydo! Love this place!! Southern hospitality with a modern twist …can’t go wrong with that?? Read more

A great place for a nice dinner out, a special occasion or Sunday brunch. Magnolias is housed in a beautifully restored and... converted mill, with large rooms, comfortable seating and excellent attentive service. Most recently we chose Magnolias for ourfamily New Years Eve dinner and they did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and wellpresented. Cocktails were also on point and the desserts were decadent. Highly recommend the Virginia bison burger, especiallyif you’ve never tried bison before. The steak with chimichurri sauce was flavorful and tender. Shrimp salad was also a bighit, and enormous. Easily big enough to serve as a side salad for the whole table. If you’re planning to go I wouldrecommend reservations, especially for the very popular Sunday brunch or holidays. It’s easy to book on open table or byphone. Read more
