I live about an hour east of here and my coworkers and I make a point to drive out around once a month to visit because of how... Incredible the bbq is. My personal favorite is the brisket and hot links but you legitimately cannot go wrong with anything onthe menu. Incredible food and fantastic staff. The pitmaster in particular is always a joy to talk to. Read more

Good bbq spot with a wide selection of beers. Good food and beers. Deserts were great. Dirt Bannana pudding is the one to die... for. Portion sizes were small and its pretty expensive. However the BBQ is awesome with the corn bread and all. White sauce isyummy. They have a huge selection of different sauces that you can pour and try with your meats. Read more

Easily the best chicken wings I?ve had in my life! We ordered the piglet on top of the wings because of my disgusting appetite... and topped it off with the four puddings of the apocalypse. Highly encourage doing the same because if you?re only in the areafor a few days, you?ve gotta order the entire menu for king and country. Read more

Very reasonable prices for good barbeque. Tons of sauce dispensers for so many great flavors. We got the piglet and it was... massive...so much food and variety with all the meats. I would avoid the nachos....I got the brisket chili nachos and it left alot to be desired.... No actual meat...just alpo canned dog food chilli on it. All of the other dishes were great. Read more

If you're new to the place, the Piglet is the way to go - half portions of a variety of meats. You're going to want to try it... all because it's all amazing. Homemade pickles are my favorite & the Bloody Marys are delish. Read more

Disappointed. When you pull into Monk's, it has all the trappings of a BBQ joint. And a long service line seemed to add cred.... But sooner or later, it is all about the food. The highpoint of the meal were the Monks Beans and Mustard potato salad. Thebrisket was overcooked to the point it lost all texture and was a fork full of mush. The pulled pork was tasteless without thesauce. The sauce bar had 7 offerings. But the low point was the custard filled corn bread. Who the heck wants sugary sweetcustard with the BBQ? Dessert maybe. Entree...nope. The service handles the people easily. But the food really let us down. Imay sit in the parking lot and smell the smoke but I won't be eating the food. . Read more

They have the best BBQ in that area. The Full rack of ribs literally falls off the bone with each bite and is cooked pefrectly.... The brisket is very succulent and cooked right. The staff are all very polite and they prepare the food quickly. The also havea good selection of BBQ sauces to choose from. Most of their sides are great too. The mac and cheese and the baked beans are myfavorties. I highly recommend them. Read more

As other reviews have said, this place smells amazing. I was practically floating to the front door in a cloud of smoky... bliss. First time in my life I've been able to crush a half rack of ribs by myself. It was that good. I just couldn't stop. Itwas super juicy and delicious without any sauce, but their sauces elevated it to the next level. The Blackberry Whiskey waswonderfully boozy and the House Sauce had a rich molasses flavor. The Angry Texan tasted like apple cider vinegar and paprika, similar to my own homemade barbecue sauce. We just came for lunch, but it looked like they had a great bar. Will have to checkthat out next time. I can't wait to come back so I can try all the other meats on the menu. Read more
