Fun random find! We were driving back from a winery when we saw a sign for this place, and on a whim, decided to make a detour.... While the space a little could be bigger (so they can do more business!), I did very much enjoy the coziness. The beers weregreat, and the free popcorn was a nice little extra. Loved that they had live music playing in the middle of the afternoon. Read more

Stopped by while in the area visiting from Delaware. Old 690 is a little off the beaten path at the end of a lightly paved road.... The ambience is great (a little countryish), the atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are very friendly. The beer is good but itis really everything put together that makes the place. There is outdoor seating in good weather as well. We ended up stayinglonger than we had intended and would definitely return if we are in the area. Read more

First, the beer and ale are worth the drive. But really the friendliness of the staff makes it a special place. There were lots... of kids running around and great availability of places to sit inside or out to socialize. The food selection is limited, butenough to complement the drinks. The basic pizza scored with the kids and the adults. Read more

Very nice microbrewery tucked away along a dirt road near Purcellville. Good beers - we tried 8 of them - we liked the Gnarly... Boar Pale Ale best. The Ol\' Man Winter Ale at 8% was also a hit. The hard seltzers were just ok.\n\nStaff were very friendly. The setting and building are quite rustic. Good outdoor seating area with a play area for kids.\n\nDecent food selections. Wetried the nachos and pizza which were quite good. The live entertainment was fine.\n\nThe microbrewery is off the beaten trackbut it\'s worth the trek. Read more

Excellent beer, service, and merchandise. Branding is bar none and lucky buck IPA is excellent. We were so pleased to stop here... on our trip. Read more

In my opinion, this is the best of the local breweries. Loudoun County has many that I enjoy but the personal feel that 690 has... is what sets them apart from the others. They offer many brews that I enjoy but the Blood Orange Blonde is and has always beenmy favorite. As local as it gets, certainly a hidden gem in Loudoun County. Read more

It?s one of those local hangouts that instantly makes you feel like one of the gang. To make things even better they have a... great selection of beer and bar food that makes it easy to stay. Will be coming back. Read more

A beer haven in wine country. Not a wine drinker? Enjoy beer? This is the place for you. Beer was excellent, even the styles... I don\'t care for (IPAs, wheat) I could appreciate. You could put the chocolate milk stout in a sippy cup! An enjoyable way tospend a few hours around the fire pit or playing corn hole before/after gambling. Service was good, limited menu (but thewebsite clearly stated that). If they served chocolate chip cookies or pumpkin pie with vanilla ice cream I would have pairedit with the appropriate desert beer. Read more
