Relatively new restaurant. Finally got around to visiting. Pizza is slightly more expensive than other options, but it's the... best pizza I have ever had. Well worth it. Hands down the BEST pizza in CT!! Since discovering them I refuse to eat pizza anywhere else! They also have "pizza strips"... which they call RI Reds (it's a Rhode Island thing lol) If you've never had them, HAVE THEM!???????? Nice little place. The staff are super friendly. I ordered the Parmesan meatball sub I believe and it was really good. It was... heavy with everything you could want. The cheese pizza was delicious and tasty. Better than one would expect for just a cheesepizza. It has a ton of flavor from the seasonings. Read more
4 family members got pizza and sandwiches as a takeout. The pesto pizza was fabulous. Also got the cranberry pecan chicken... salad, Italian and French dip. All sandwiches were great! They also wait until you arrive to drop your fries to give you thefreshest product! Read more
I was pleasantly surprised by The Broken Crust. So many pizza places are just so so, but this is more than a pizza place. The... sandwiches are something special. We had the Grilled Cheese Caprese, the Roasted Turkey BLT and a BYO small pizza with mushroomsand black olives. The BLT had a really amazing cranberry mayo... flavorful and interesting! It came with some really yummyhouse-made pickle chips. The bread on the grilled cheese was toasted to absolute perfection. And they didn't skimp on pizzatoppings???? The inside of the restaurant is cute and cozy, and the deli counter has grab and go options like muffins andbagels. The girl that placed our orders and brought us our meal was really sweet. I have been eating in Putnam for years now. Turns out this place is fairly new and on Kennedy Drive unlike other food joints in... Putnam, that are back there. Maybe that is why I missed it all these years - But now I am sold. Today was my second day. Theirsalads are really good and at a fair price. The pizza was good too.
