I was really expecting more from a place with so much history. I will give them the benefit of the doubt because we were there... an hour before their closing time (which is 8pm according to google) but the only decent thing I ate was the ribs. The ribs andone piece of chicken were the only things left to order and they only had like 2 or 3 sides to offer. There were Flys all overthe place and it wasn't very clean. The ribs were decent but it's not something I would drive a long way for. Read more

Love the ride to Vermont from CT...the views just getting there are amazing. The Barbeque Ribs, sweet corn on the cob, baked... cornbread, everything was just perfect. Read more

Love this place. Located in beautiful Vermont. The best BBQ for the New England area. A classic staple.. Curtis will be missed... terribly. His legacy will live on through the love he shared with his food. An absolute must. Read more

Curtis BBQ is iconic and I so admire their tenacity ?but I also miss Curtis. Also, when guys on harleys ask for no sauce or mild... on the side, it caused the local insects to stop in midair out of disbelief. The chicken in my experience was better than someother recent reviews. Read more

Was told by alot of people to go years ago. Finally went and will never go back. For was not good at all. Ribs over cooked.... Very chewy. Sauce sucked. Not bbq sauce its hot sauce. Chicken was very dry. No bbq joint should have a microwave to heat foodup. Really. This is just my review. Maybe i got it on a bad day. The two kids working there really need to get thier acttogether. Curtis is rolling over in his grave. Read more

Crunchy, stringy, dry pork ribs with a tabasco laden BBQ sauce. Canned baked beans. Was great years ago...now, not so much. And,... the table we sat at was falling apart, the nails in the bench weren't even fastened to the frame of the table. Hazardous toone's taste as well as safety. Read more

First time since Curtis passed away. We were staying at the Brattleboro koa which is right down the street. It was opened on... time before noon. No line. We ordered four combos and some sides. The bill was over $80. We brought it back to the campsite toeat. I ordered the white chicken instead of the leg. That was tender although the sauce was really vinegary. The ribs howeverwere not great and very stringy. I could not eat them. I think it?s the cut of meat rather than how they bbq. I like ribsmelting off the bone and they were not like that. Sides were good but not great. I?m hoping for the best for them. They haveonly been open a few weeks. They seemed to really want to please. Read more
