The sushi here was excellent! It tasted great and had great portions. The only downside is that the individual pieces were often... times too big to eat at once. Thus, they would fall apart while trying to take multiple bites. I recommend the Caterpillar roleand the Spider role. Read more

We were visiting a friend in the area (we live about 45 mins away) and my son wanted some sushi. This place was nearby and had... great reviews. I was not able to get pictures of the sushi before it was gobbled up, but WOW! Such big rolls! I've becomeaccustomed to mediocre at best sized rolls for the same price. They use a hearty amount of rice, but also don't skimp on thefillings. My son can normally eat three California rolls and feel full, he had a Cali and a caterpillar roll and couldn'tfinish! My wife had a Salmon Poke bowl that looked super fresh and I had the Chicken Yakisoba which was WAY more food than Ineeded. All the ingredients were super fresh and tasted as if they were all individually prepped as we ordered. If we are inthe area again, we'll be back AND we will recommend to those we know!! Keep it up!! I’ve since tried theother sushi restaurants in the area, and I keep coming back to Happy Bento for these reasons: Fresh fish Perfectly cookedrice Crunchy vegetables Eloquent presentation Fast, friendly service Generous proportions It’s this last point where HappyBento earns their accolades. While their menu prices are a little more than their competition, Happy Bento’s proportionstrounce their competitors. We’re all trying to stretch our dollars, and a sushi roll (or any menu item) from Happy Bento is acomplete meal and well worth the price. Read more
Been curious about this place for months and finally just tried it. Took literally a few bites and trashed it. The Chicken... Teriyaki was flavorless as if zero seasoning was used and maybe they relied solely on throwing sauce on it for flavor and theBeef w/ Broccoli had minimal flavor, mainly had veggies with barely any beef and the beef itself looked questionable.
