Really great spot. We had raw oysters, calamari, Caesar salad, and the seafood avocado toast. Our server, Melissa, was excellent... and really added to the experience. Highly recommend lunch here! Read more

Came into this restaurant a few days ago and was delighted with everything, the food, service, and views were amazing. It was a... very busy restaurant and I could tell that everything and everyone was working together to make the customers have a goodexperience. Our server was a young lady named Chloe, she was wonderful. We got the crispy chicken for a starter as per herrecommendation which was lovely, very moist and juicy. We followed that with another recommendation of hers, the seafood gnocchiwhich she spoke highly of. Ending it with a lemon tart... 10/10 great place, will be going back! Read more

Gave me Food Poisoning. 1 star for ambience, 1 star for the amazing staff, lose 3 stars for me spending the first night of my... trip puking at my accommodations. I called the morning after to advise them of the mishap, specified I'd ordered the seardAlbacore tuna with crab and Avocado. I'd also had the chips and hummus on the advice of the waitress stating just a little morethan the albacore would be recommended (she was right, and it was the right amount of food), I additionally had a $23 pour ofwine, meaning I paid in the realm of $55 for food and drink, for just me. They took down my info when I called and.....I'venever heard back. No effort to make it right, no offer to fix anything about it, never heard another word from them. I was thereSaturday night and called Sunday morning. I guess making sure that they keep a good recommendation with travelers is not a highpriority, not to mention who knows if they did anything about it, which was 3/4 the reason I'd called, so no one else would getserved it (I'm guessing based on other reviews it likely did anyway). I'd never come back just for the food poisoning andmanagement even though it's a wonderful location and setting, despite being a hotel-attached restaurant. I'm overdue for anedit but I figured since they took their time I'd take mine. They called the day after I posted the review (and they publiclyresponded) with promises of a gift card for the next time I come, which is a lovely offer. That has yet to come to fruition.Words are lovely, actions matter. Thanks for the apology though! Read more

I came here as a treat to myself for my last day of my vacation on the island. Initially, I was going to walk out. I had booked... a reservation and showed up to the restaurant, I waited for a hostess for about 5 minutes, multiple staff walked by me and actedas if I wanted standing there. Once they realized I had a reservation they were much more interested in helping me find atable. The waitress and other staff were nice once I was seated, the patio was beautiful and the food was all amazing other thanbeing out of oysters, which was quite disappointing. All in all I would highly recommend trying this restaurant. Read more

Okay. So I have been debating on whether to post this or remain silent. Over the last few days, I have come to the conclusion.... It is better to voice your opinion in the hopes of seeing true results as opposed to just wishing someone would say somethingand seeing....NOTHING. On the second night of our stay at QBI. We had a reservation in the Cafe. Start with the Foccaciabread. Onto our entrées. Ribeye Lobster risotto Vongole pasta Cheese pizza from the kids menu. Campfire chocolate cake Ribeyewas cooked perfect medium rare but so much gristle! On a bed of fries? They ended up soaked in the juices and weremushy! Lobster risotto was okay. Cheese pizza for the kid. Be sure to ask for basil on the side. Most kids including mine arenot fond of it. I have 3 slices in my fridge as proof. The Vongole pasta...chef. More care to inspect the clams. There were 2stones in my sons meal!!! One, I would call a stone, the other is a rock! With seaweed on it yet! I know that the server wasshocked, and so was the trainee beside her. I will admit here that I work in the family seafood store and I am familiar withrocks coming in with the bags of clams. Be it the 5lb or 25lb sacks from Fanny Bay or any of the other Westcoast harvesters. I however take the time to sort through all of my inventory before I sell it to our customers. I sincerely hope that this doesn'thappen again in the future. Regards, Ray. Read more

Great service and great menu. It’s the first time I’ve seen caviar on the menu! A “little” outside my budget, but it was... fun to see. The drinks and the salad were great. Wasn’t a fan of the pizza. It tasted burned and dry. Read more

Amazing oysters. Delicious Caesar but the Romain should not require using a knife to cut it into bite size pieces. Tuna tartar... is very fresh. Delicious sangria pitchers Read more
