Ordered a Number 5. Was to receive 4 tenders, wedges & biscuit. Received 3 tenders & a wing. Worst part was the "tenders", were... dried up and was difficult to tear apart with your hands. Incredibly tough to chew. This place had steady customers the hour Isat there.. so chicken could not be old. Also their potato wedges are way to big to be enjoyable at all. As busy as this location is we would've thought it would be super fresh and hot, sadly, were so wrong. 2 stars because we liked... the lady served us. The apple pie and the mac-n-cheese were good but the tenders, the fried chicken, and the honey biscuit weredry and old. The biscuit was just to hard to eat and was what I was really looking forward to. Hope it was just an off evening,we'll try again and hopefully change the review. Read more
Chicken was crispy and tasty. Potatoes a bit bland but not bad, green beans SUPER salty. Livers in the case were DEAD! almost... black, so didn't order. Cranky server. Overall...doable. Read more
I went just before they closed. I am sure it would have been better earlier in the day Had the chicken fingers. They were good.
This Chester's Chicken is located in a Loves truck stop fuel station convenience store. There is a Subway Sandwich shop right... next to it. It seems to be constantly busy but I've never had to wait to long.. The chicken has always been well prepared. Itis medium crunchy and not heavily spiced. There are three or four side dishes usually available to include potato wedges, friedokra, and corn on the cob. Read more
First time eating Chester;s was not a disappointment. Got the 3 piece meal with a biscuit and Mac and cheese. Awesome. Love... that its in a Love?s so that I could get my Cherry Coke Zero from the fountain in the truck stop rather than the regular drinksfrom Chester?s. Definitely will be hitting it up again.
