My friends and I saw the crowd outside Bello Ristorante the day before we decided to come to this restaurant. Food and drink... here didn't make us disappointed. We had a bottle of Verema Seleccion (Red wine). Sharing of food, - Caprese: Italian salad,made of sliced fresh mozzarella, tomatoes. - Minestrone: is a thick soup of Italian origin made with vegetables. - Zuppa diCipolla: French onion soup. - Salmon tartare - Vongole: spaghetti with clams. We went to Bello on a recommendation. We usually avoid Italian restaurants as my wife is Sicilian and we have excellent Italian... food at home. We should have heeded our instincts and went somewhere else. Now the place was packed, and the waitress did herbest with volume of work she had, so no issue with her at all. We had a Peroni and sparkling water, and shared the arancinistarter. It was okay but needed salt, that would be a theme of the evening. We went with a margarita pizza and veal parmigianafor mains, portions were substantial, as per the pictures, but the pizza was flavourless and my side (white) pasta was unsaltedas well. I asked for additional red sauce to enhance the flavour. The red sauce used for the veal was more flavourful than thered pizza sauce, which we understand should be different but they needed to taste the sauce and adjust it if need be. Basedupon the other reviews, we were so looking forward to this, but unfortunately it was not to be. Maybe it was a bad night due tothe volume but either way we won?t be back. Squid ink pasta was good. Chewy, well-seasoned noodle with excellent jumbo shrimps. Duck risotto was way too salty. Expensive... but not tasty. Wait time was too long. A middle aged white guy sitting next to me (with four daughters in the States, hebragged) was flirting with the bartender and another girl for two hours straight. And on top of that, the one male waiter wastouching bartender?s a$$/sh, so the overall experience was not pleasant. Read more

A great restaurant! Has Italian and French vibes, which make you feel the food tastes of Quebec. Had a risito with kod fish and... a cocktail. The meal was GREAT, the cocktail less so but not bad. Overall quite expensive but for the FOOD and service quality Iwould agree :) Read more

My family really enjoyed our evening at Bello. Dinner was delicious and did not disappoint. They were very good with handling... our son's food allergies. I believe our waiter's name was Morgan...very friendly! Bello is a very popular restaurant which madeit difficult to book another dinner for the following evening. Highly recommend! Read more

Very nice place, with fancy atmosphere and good service. We ordered tartare as a starter (delicious), and then proceeded with... pasta (super well made) and tiramisú as dessert, which was not too good ? extremely heavy for a tiramisú. Sizes wereappropriate, and there was a variety of drinks as well. Unfortunately, not too many with gin (and the one I ordered ended upbeing not as good as I had hoped). Vibrant yet still calm environment. Beautiful atmosphere and very nice staff, all bilingual (English & French). The duck salad... here is truly amazing. Would highly recommend! Most dishes are delicious, only a few aren?t too special. I would sayrestaurant leans towards the fancier and delicate end of the spectrum rather than a louder crowded eatery. Absolutely delicious food. The ambience was very welcoming. It was busy so we ended up sitting at the bar. The mixologist was... very knowledgeable and friendly. I dropped my napkin and menu and the attentive waiter immediately retrieved them and brought menew ones. I highly recommend the Highland beef with the bourbon sauce and they accommodated my risotto replacement with thegarlic and pepper one - a stunning blend of flavours !
