Amazing fries, they were perfect. I loved the vegan burger, it was so good, hand made from lentils and whatever else, so much... better than premade Beyond meat garbage. My husband said the burgers with cheese and bacon were very good. We were speakingEnglish and were given great service, which sadly doesn't always happen in Quebec City. Read more
The location make it difficult to find parking lot on rush hours. There are a lot of different burgers style so it can please... everyone. The fries are really good and the homemade mayo too. For the ultimate experience, change your fries into poutine. Read more
Amazing vibe, it was the first time tasting onion rings with honey as dipping sauce and let me tell you it was life changing... ,the buffalo chicken poutine was amazing (a must taste if you like spicy chicken and potine mixed together) and the mini burgervariety platter offered a great tasting of what they had to offer. I know that they are known for their burgers but the salad and the poutine was also delicious! Their onion rings were well... battered and fried but their choice of using honey as a dipping sauce was questionable. We ended up dipping them in ketchupinstead. Then we got the gnocchi poutine which was an interesting take on a traditional poutine and it was very tasty. But Iwish they had more sour cream. The salad was also delicious and filling but next time we would try their burgers when we’remore hungry. Read more
Chez Victor was such a pleasant experience from start to finish. The decor inside and the music made for a very cool/cute... atmosphere. The waitress was extremely busy, but found the time to check up on me often. The menus are available in both Frenchand English; the hardest thing about them was simply choosing which among the many delicious options to order. The food wasamazing. I ordered the La Bête burger and the daily feature crème brûlée, which was a maple crème brûlée. The beef pattyon my burger was juicy, and flavourful, and possibly the best I've had. The whole burger, with all the toppings, came togetherso well. I highly recommend Chez Victor to anyone, but especially English-speaking tourists that may be nervous about theirexperience and are looking to eat some excellent food. It was hard to find a last minute dinner reservation in Quebec City during the long weekend; we found this place via a... recommendation from a local barista, and they were able to accommodate our party of 8 on short notice. The gentleman I spoke toon the phone, Mathias, was courteous and friendly, and even wound up being our server. And what an amazing array of vegetariandishes and burger options!!! I had the l’Indien burger and my husband had the duck confit poutine; my kids had the Buffalowing burger and minimalist burger. Everything was prepared freshly, and everyone in our group went on and on about how tastythe food was - no leftovers to take home! And no guilt, or bloated, gross, “I overate” feeling. I would highly recommendedthis local restaurant to any travelling vegans and carnivores alike - it’s a burger joint with so many wonderful options andhealthy variations. Excellent food quality! Their beer battered onion rings were the best we ever had: very crunchy and the onions were very soft.... We took two vegetarian burgers, the Veganator and Le Verguez. Both of them were very juicy. What set them apart was that theyhad a nice mix of flavors from various ingredients and their balance was perfect! Our toddler got a very good quality highchair with its own mini-table attached. They also provided coloring pens and drawing paper to her to keep her busy.
