A very tasty evening meal option with work colleagues. Well made beef burgers and poutine options with various toppings. Fairly... modest portions but meant you could enjoy the whole meal without feeling uncomfortable! Staff were very friendly andaccommodating. IPA was very good too. Overall would recommend for a quick bite if you prefer something more casual, reminiscentof burger joint in UK or USA. Read more
One of the best poutine I have had, after Builder Burger in Ottawa. The elk burger was great too! Along with the milk shakes and... the flavored soda. Will recommend this place any time. There is no reservation, first come first serve with friendly bilingualstaff. Read more
Went in to have a Bloody Caesar and a vegan poutine, which was on the menu. Was told by the staff that there was no vodka, and... there was no vegan gravy OR vegan patties for burgers left, meaning my girlfriend could only have the salad. Bummer! My burgerwas good, trio was good for the price. Fries were good, and whatever ketchup they use is great. Wish I could give a higherreview, but having a tonne of inventory missing from the menu on a not-so-busy Sunday in April was a huge let down. Also: TheChic Cola is quite yummy. Read more
A must visit! Delicious food, amazing service and good ambiance. Worth the wait in the queue :) I tried their vegan burger with... the 70% Dark chocolate milkshake; loved em! I'm still amazed at the server remembering 4 different meal combos without writing,and recommending them according to dietary preferences. Read more
Definitely get the specialty fries - those with the black garlic mayonnaise sauce were amaaaazing. The mango housemade soda was... also pretty good but tasted a little watery. My burger was pretty great too, but nothing out of the ordinary compared to anothernice burger place. We got a seat pretty quickly and the service was alright. The waiter immediately forgot what drinks weordered and tried to bring us someone else's, then brought us two beef burgers instead of the chicken burger my partner ordered.But they did correct it right away, he had to wait about another 10 for his food. The prices were really great compared to thehigh prices in this area though! If you want a lunch that isn't too overpriced and quick service with some amazing fries, thisis the spot. Read more

Pretty funny it's called chic shack but there is only one chicken sandwich option. The chicken sandwich is actually really good,... a lot smaller than I thought it would be though. The sides are pretty good too, the peppered maple chips are pretty good. One ofthe best things about this restaurant is if you get a window seat, you have great views of old town and all the people who arewalking through. Read more
Walked in at 7pm to order takeout as I knew the store was closing soon and also it was raining. Quite a few other groups were... ordering takeout as well. I ordered the Le chic with sweet potato fries. My husband ordered the Le BBQ with regular fries. Weleft after we received our order, 5 min later we discovered that we were given the wrong order. I was ready to just eat andforget about it but then realized both burgers were vegan... so we went back. We waited another 10min for our order and didn'tcheck our bag thinking there is no way it can be wrong this time. Wrong. When we finally sat down to eat...1st thing wenoticed, I did not receive my sweet potato fries. 2nd, we received 2 of the same burger... which wasn't even one we ordered. Idon't even know what we received but at this point I was exhausted and did not feel like making another trip back. Overall,disappointing experience after spending $20+ for each burger.
