We came her for afternoon tea on a Saturday. The place was a lovely experience and i loved the tea kettle, cup, and accessories.... Afternoon tea at Place Dufferin was a little disappointing. They didn't serve clotted cream for the scones but something quite... runny. My child has food allergies which they did a great job to accommodate! There was four of us for the tea. They broughtover a 3-tier of allergy safe foods for two instead of for one, while the second 3- tier served two from the normal menu. Itshould have been one allergy meal and three normal menu. Good selection of tea choices. We really enjoyed the live music fromthe pianist. She was very good with song requests and just a delightful person! Read more
Had a great breakfast at Place Dufferin. Very convenient location inside of Chateau Frontenac and excellent views of Dufferin... Terrace. The breakfast itself was very tasty and well laid out. Service was prompt and very friendly. There were plenty ofoptions to suit any member of the family. We chose to eat breakfast one morning with inclement weather and check out otheroptions on the nice mornings - great food and experience, but pricey for everyday breakfast. Read more
5 stars for the ambience and 4 for the food, only because I thought the waffles were a little dense. The croissants, the jam and... the potatoes were to die for. Overall a fantastic way to have a nice family or couples breakfast in style. Loved it! Read more
Of all the Fairmonts I have to say this dining experience definitely fell short of expectations. Whilst the service is great,... the fact that you’re being charged $35 pp, the quality and taste didn’t justify the exorbitant price. Like someone else hadmentioned - you’re getting McCain frozen potatoes and fruits that look like it’s from a fruit cup that’s served on aflight is a bit sad. Sadly I won’t be returning and will just stick to the bar if I’m looking to enjoy the view. Read more

I had eggs, coffee, croissant and salmon Benedict. All of these were good except the salmon Benedict. The muffin of the... Benedict was dry and hard. Also I recommend buffet option whenever having breakfast at Fairmont’s restaurant. You can alsojust request Benedict from chef. Read more
