We were in Quebec City this past week and had dinner at this restaurant twice. All of us really enjoyed the Pad Thai which was... not sweet heavily coated in peanut sauce and that is what we looked the most. Perfect balance of flavours. If you have an Indianpalette like is, ordering it spicy would be a great idea. Their local homemade strawberry lemonade is really delicious as well.Kids loved the fried spring rolls and wanton soup. It is one of the few Asian restaurants around. We were in a queue for dinnerfrom 4:45 pm, the place opens at 5pm. Didn't mind the wait knowing the food going to be to our taste. Only down side was thatthe waitress was a quite impatient while taking orders and did mix it up a bit. Read more

Best meal we?ve had in Quebec! We were greeted by a lovely lady who was clearly passionate about the service. She recommended us... the strawberry lemonade and it was delightful! So fresh! The waiters were all so friendly and helpful - helping us withrecommendations. The food was scrumptious - I had the pad Thai but everyone else?s food was gobbled right up. Special creditgoes to the strawberry pudding we had. Would 10/10 recommend a visit - especially because of how lovely all the staff were andsmiley they were :) Read more

I think the spring rolls are the best I've ever had! And the meal I got was a chicken salad with rice vermicelli and an apple... mango puree, it was amazing as well. Awesome restaurant! Loved it! Read more

Tasty soups and imperial rolls! They were very good. The soups were light but savoury. The imperial rolls were crunchy on the... outside and moist on the inside. The mains were good too but not as authentic in taste. Restaurant is small butclean. Overall, it's fairly good for someone looking for Asian food in Québec City! Read more

We came here on our first night in Quebec City. It?s located in the art district and is a quaint little restaurant that has been... open for over 30 years. Mrs. Fam is the owner and we had the pleasure of chatting with her quite a bit when we dined in herestablishment. She told us about her schooling in Europe and how she ended up owning 5 restaurants - she has since sold 3. Ifyou?re expecting to go there and be left alone, this may not be the place for you. When we went it was quiet and we loved everyminute listening to Mrs. Fam?s stories. She is so friendly and she has led quite an interesting life. Back to the food - Itdoesn?t contain any MSG and is cooked in very minimal oil. The pad Thai has skinnier noodles than the usual which is a nicechange. The teriyaki chicken was just perfect! If you have room for dessert try their famous fried pineapple with a homemadesauce. It sounds a little bizarre but it was to die for. It was not greasy or oily, the batter was flavourful and the sauce waslike a butterscotch. Read more

Food is really good. We ate hear on our first night visiting from Ottawa and I?m very glad we did. The restaurant is cozy and a... offers a beautiful window view of the old streets outside. The food is cooked without excess oils and No MSG so you can indulgeand still feel wonderful the next day. The owner Fam is from Vietnam and lived many years in France before coming to Canada. She?s a wonderful hostess. She?s owned the restaurant for 31 years. There?s pictures on the wall of her with former PrimeMinisters, Premiers, and Mayors who have all visited her restaurant. We had the Pad Thai and Teriyaki Chicken. They make theirpad Thai with thinner noodles which I loved. The soup was also delicious. Desert options were Vanilla Cake, Carrot Cake, andtheir speciality a fried pineapple round that looks like a donut drizzled in homemade maple sauce. Read more
