Food was delicious but did not know it was bring your own wine, it's not mentioned on there website nor in the restaurant. Only... bad was 1 common bathroom for men and women, and on 5 toilets 4 was out of order. Read more
Wow I can only say great things about the food and the place itself. It truly is a hidden gem. The ambiance was very chill and... the staff was extremely attentive, which in my books is always a major plus. We've been going to shogun since 2014 and willcontinue to stay loyal to this hidden gem of a restaurant for years to come. Read more
The sushis were O.K. but nothing amazing. My friend ordered a Salmon Pokebowl and it honestly was the worst one I ever tasted,... it went unfinished and bare in mind, we were there as a big group and a menu was forced upon us. No possibility to share a mealand said menu had no list of ingredients so we did not know what items we would be getting.We asked to get the sushi menu andwere denied it as it would slow service down for a bug group but it honestly did not help at all.Service was slow andreservation was delayed half an hour while we were waiting there inside, all crammed against each other and when it came tobeing seated, we had to hear insults from the other group that was kicked out because of poor reservations management on therestaurant's part. Service was super slow. Waited a few minutes for the appetizer and soup, but the main course arrived ~45 mins after. I already... lost my appetite and mood. Food was okay, nothing really special - westernized japanese food, but will cost you quite more thanit's worth. You can bring your own wine, which is sweet. Great tasting and very good looking sushis! We tried the "Discovery" dish for two, which contained delicious, inventive, varied,... colourful and superbly presented sushi. The service is great and the staff clearly cares for its customers! We arrived at 18:00without a reservation and were assigned to an okay table. Then, before we order, the waitress offerred us to sit at in a betterspot, saying that these places were booked for later that night, but we could take them given that we left before 20:15... Thus,we enjoyed the culinary experience much more conformably! Read more
Great find! We had the full choix du chef and it did not disappoint. Scallop tartare with basil and strawberry dressing is one... of the best things I've ever eaten. I highly recommend it! Read more
I'm sure this place would (not) have been epic but they purposely cancelled our reservation because they wanted to host a... bigger group. We reserved 2 weeks prior and even called the day before to confirm. This was a family and friends dinner for myfriends wedding. They were snobby with us and even had out names crossed out on the reservation list. But you know who wasawesome, Restaurant Soria right across the street. They hooked us up with seating for our party right away and the food wasgreat. Read more
