I love the food, the fella serving me could be nicer but other than that it's delicious!!
Service not good The food is usual like other Thai Express, but the service is terrible. I went today (17 August at 7:15pm) with... my family. The restaurant is supposed to be open until 9pm, but the two staff at the counter told us that they can only take ourorder if we are fine with take away. We agreed, but they refused to serve many customers as they wanted to eat inside therestaurant. This was very unprofessional on a weekend evening when everyone was way within the time limit. I read a lot of comments complaining about this restaurant. People, especially tourists, needs to understand that this... restaurant isn't a restaurant at all but simply fast-food service. It's like if Quebecois wanted to eat a poutine in arestaurant based in Thailand; it's probably not gonna taste as tasty as in Quebec. Thai Express is like McDonalds. If you'reexpecting to have a AAA steak quality; you're gonna be disappointed. So if you want something fast and tasty enough to fill yourempty stomach after a hangover, that'll do the job but expect more than that. Read more
I orded tom yum soup and 3 others but it came Terrible taste not real Thai food way It's modified to tourists taste. Even we... spoke Thai they want to charge Cilantro. This is worst Thai restaurant in my life. They said we don't have changes for cash Paycustomers even they have cashdraw in order to get more money from visitors. Do not even attempt to go or order for carryout. One star is even too much for this Thai Express. Worst "restaurent" in Quebec city (would like to give 0star). Me and my friend visited this place from Ottawa. We tried to order... surf and turf/ Terre de mer, and the store manager(or owner) told us there's no order called Terre de met. I saw it on thescreen, so I tried to take photo of it, and show it too him. As I was trying to take a photo of it, he imedietely changed hiswords and told us there is a menu calls d"Terre de mer". And he laughed at us for no reason. I learned French for more than 10years, and can fully understand French. So when he was making 3 of our orders, he talked to his co-worker in French, by trashtalking us and saying we were crazy and swearing at us! I did not respond in French because I didn't wanted to argue withhim. As we got our 1st menu, we ordered shrimp pad-thai, the manager instead gave us chicken pad-thai(wrong order). It seemslike the manager doesn't know the store's menu and can't make it. As well As, have a bad manner and called us a fool andinsulted us. I would like to tell every customer of this restaurant, if you seem like you can't speak French, the manager andworkers will talk behind you guys and even swear in French. Was craving Asian food, so I stopped here for a quick bite. This place is basically just offers fast Asian food you might get at... the mall or a food court. Got the pad see ew with tofu, which was so oily and not tasty. The tofu was hard and flavorless. Alsonote that the spicy is actually pretty spicy, and makes your food even harder to stomach. I would definitely not recommend,especially since the meals end up being around 11CAD or more, abd everything is served in disposable containers and withsingle-use utensils. Read more
