Beautiful window view, excellent lighting and ambiance. Door manager and Sarah were unaccommodating and prejudice. She had three... tables ours included which she intentionally ignored repetitively. No water refills, gluten free rolls. They were treating uslike neither one of us could foot the bill. Read more

A beautiful setting on the river, this gallery is superb. Simon’s works are stunning. We own many beautiful pieces. Also, the... restaurant in the gallery is just excellent. And, if you love cheese soup look no further. It has the most delicious Vermontcheddar cheese soup on earth, and that’s not hyperbole. If you’re in the area you must stop in. Read more

This is a glass blowing facility with a restaurant and a glass shop. You need a reservation for the restaurant, otherwise you... cant dine there. It's cool to look at the glass blowing but they dont have any tours etc for glass blowing. You have a good viewof the dam from back side of the building. Read more

What an amazing meal in a fabulous establishment. We had the quiche and Halibut. Both were uniquely flavored and presented with... perfection. Best meal we've had in Vermont or New Hampshire in our 12 day visit. Quiche was like a combination of chicken Potpie and standard quiche. Amazing flavor. Our server, Taylee, was super friendly, attentive, and professional. Don't even thinkabout coming without reservations. We read that in the reviews and made a reservation before arriving. Several angry folks weregetting turned away. You just need to do your homework. Masks are still a requirement at this restaurant which in my mind is alittle draconian, but I guess we ain't in Texas anymore. Read more

Perfect location for lunch or early dinner (so you can enjoy the view) while in Vermont. Sue was the perfect server and made me... feel so welcome. Save room for the flourless chocolate cake and be sure to stop by the store and take home a beautiful piece toremember your trip. The outdoor balcony (off the glass blowing room) offer perfect photo ops! Read more

Justly famous for lovely glassware, the Simon Pearce restaurant is just as wonderful. First, the location, right on the river,... rustic in a comfortable and elegant way. All of the glassware is their own, so they set a beautiful table. The menu is of theregion. The bread and butter is brown bread and little bisquits with sweet butter. Our starter was butternut soup, then a lambburger with spinach salad, a chicken sandwich and the special of the day, fish and chips for our party of three. The plates arewell dressed, and a few changes, like hold the dressing, done right. Service is pleasant and efficient. Tables are byreservation only, and were full, so the staff has to be good to manage it all. The restaurant is in the same building as theshop, with lots of parking in the back by the river. An absolutely pleasant Vermont treat. Read more
