First time trying Chicago pizza and we weren't disappointed. Two of us had salads and I loved the smallness of the vegetable... pieces and I really enjoyed my salad. The owner was very friendly and the waitress was very helpful. Read more

Great hole in the wall spot that I don't think very many people know about. The staff is always very friendly and the food is... fresh and definitely in the true Chicago style pizza. They have a pretty good selection of beer on draft and good wineselection as well. You cannot go wrong here, they do get pretty busy so I advise to get there when they open or make areservation for a big party. Read more

I drove from Scottsdale to try this pie because I consider myself a pizza epicurean. It is absolutely great. Nice and flavorful... sauce with an extraordinary buttery crust. I will make this trek more often now that I have discovered it. Has to be on thebucket list if visiting Arizona in my humble opinion. Great pie!! Read more

Let's begin by saying we love the food here, unfortunately this occasion, no so much. We started with calamari, it was... overcooked, and cooked in old oil, we had it taken of the bill. Next we ordered a Chicago style Italian beef sandwich (my wife),and a meatball sandwich for me. They up-charge for cheese jardineir, and hot and sweet peppers. I get it, times are hard. Mywife was impressed with her sandwich, I tasted it, and it was good. My meatball sub they charged a $1 for cheese, really?doesn't it usually come with cheese? I've been a chef for 30 plus years, and I've always put cheese on meatball subs. Mysandwich was okay, bread was chewy and cold, meatballs were bland with zero flavor. Not impressive at all, 3 out 10. We eachordered onion rings for an extra dollar, they came with the sandwiches, they were soggy and undercooked in old oil. Wecomplained to our server who, by the way was very nice and attentive. Finally the Kitchen Manager came out, and explained whathad happened, he cooked our onion rings again and the were better. I forgot to mention the pizza ovens were not working, shouldhave been a sign. I will give them a chance again in the future but I hope they resolve some of these issues. Read more

2nd visit and I'm so glad to be back. I dream of the Beer nuggets! Inside there were tables and half booths, clean and a little... busy. We were greeted as we walked in and sat immediately. We ordered Beer nuggets, a Sears Tower Deep Dish 14" pizza with asmall Vero's House salad. Also they have Diet Dr Pepper, I was very happy. The large serving of Beer nuggets are buttery, garlicky fluffy puffs of bread that are addictive and so delicious! I didn't get a photo till they were almost gone. The pizzawas divine. Huge, thick slices filled with meat, veggies and cheese, then topped with sauce. I wish I would have gotten a photoof the long cheese pull. Our server Raven was attentive & friendly. It was actually her birthday that day. We had a fabuloustime and will be back soon. Read more
