Our family loves Café Rio. They ALWAYS take care of us even when they mess up. They 100 try to make things right. They've... messed up our order a few times but are so cool about fixing it. Like tonight they were slammed and our order wasn't ready forpick up so they gave us 3 large drinks for free and said, "we're so sorry, help yourself to whatever you'd like." ????????. Wewill continue to support this business especially since they respect our military so we got 50% off our whole tab yesterday.Plus, they observe "Taco Tuesdays" which is a big deal for me, cause they care about giving back to their community by offeringdeals like that on a weekly. Ate lunch at the QC Cafe Rio today. It was clean and the food was great. What topped it off was a young man (didn?t get his... name) working there walked out when the rush slowed down and asked every customer in the restaurant how there meal was, if hecould do anything for each Customer, and thanked us all for coming in. I?ve ate at many Cafe Rio locations and have never hadsomeone come out and ask me how things were. Literally who are they hiring? Second Rio I've been to so far in AZ and the kitchen looks like a mess. All the food is mixed... with everything else. The staff literally ask if I want rice and beans then pawn it off to the next person who asks the samething. We usually love the Cafe Rio brand, we?ve had it in multiple states and have generally good experiences. The queen creek... location is garbage. The rice is so undercooked I feel like it ruins my whole meal. I also have noticed behind the counter isusually a hot mess of ingredients everywhere. So good! Beyond good! We don't have Cafe Rio where I live and anytime I go somewhere that has one I will go out of my way to go... eat there. I got the sweet pork barbacoa salad and it was excellent. The sweet pork barbacoa is the most delicious meat on theplanet. The salad is the absolute best I've ever had anywhere and I've eaten a lot of salads in my day. I also got a sweet porkbarbacoa burrito to take home and it too was absolutely scrumptious. If you go you must try the horchata. Cafe Rio has myfavorite horchata out of any that I've tried. My mom also got the sweet pork barbacoa salad and the horchata and she loved hersas well. Our orders were made correctly but the staff definitely seemed bored and like they didn't want to be there. Ordered online, paid a bunch extra for sour cream on each taco, added cilantro, drove all the way down to pickup and back home... only to find out they absolutely put zero effort into my order. Meat wasn?t even placed on the tortilla. Call customer care andall they want to offer is for me to drive back down to have it corrected. I get it if someone calls and there?smiscommunications, but when you place an online order for very simple add-ons that you?re charging your customer for, the leastyou can do is double check that the order is correct.
