I've read reviews of this place changing ownership recently and that service and food has degraded, but I've been coming here... for years and wanted to check it out for myself. My wife and I visited twice within the last 30 days and found thefollowing: First night: THE GOOD: The food was still good. We read reviews about the tasty, spicy egg rolls being smaller butthey looked and tasted the same to us - so still good ???????? The sushi tasted fresh and still good ???????? THE BAD: Thewaitress was stressed, but trying to keep it together. The food took a long time to be delivered to our table. It felt like shewas trying to handle a lot or wasn't trained right. Second night: THE GOOD: The food was good again! We ordered the spicy eggrolls and calamari and it was just as good as before ???????? We ordered 3 Cali Crunch Rolls and 1 Spicy Yellow Tail. The sushicame out great ???????? THE BAD: The wait and service needs dramatic improvement. We were told our wait to be seated was 30mins, but it took 45 mins. We saw dropped napkins and food under our table that had not been picked up from the last guests. Then we were finally seated and told that if we ordered sushi it would take another 45 mins to get it because they were backedup!? Umm...of course we are going to order sushi at SUSHI CREEK! In a respectful and professional way I shared ourdisappointment in our experience. The sushi did get delivered to our table within 30 mins. The waiter was empathetic, but stillmissed our requests for plates and silverware. I don't feel this was his fault, but it was definitely something that fell onmanagement/ownership. The staff is very young and inexperienced, which leads me to believe the new owners removed prior staffand hired new employees, causing inefficiencies in the kitchen and floor. It felt like kids took over a place that HADprofessionals running a reputable brand. I look forward to visiting this establishment again within the next 30 days for anupdate. Read more

The food is delicious. We go primarily for the cheetah roll and the orange chicken. The sushi does take a while for them to... prepare it fresh. Up until our visit today, the service was generally slow with minimal check-ins from our server. Today, ourserver (Sam was his name, I believe) was excellent! If he was our server every time, I'd rate the service 5 stars. Theatmosphere has a good vibe with lighting and decor. However, the tables are all extremely close together (the location issmall), and when no music is playing, all you'll hear is a bunch of voices. If you don't mind the crowd and wait time, thecheetah roll is worth it! Read more

We came a Tuesday night and waited about 25mins to get in. Surprisingly a long wait. Loved the ambiance. However we probably... waited another 45mins to get our food. I would give the taste 7 out of 10. I got the French kiss, crunchy roll and the dragonroll. I don?t know if it was worth the wait. I will note that I ordered a teriyaki bowl that they totally forgot to get for me.They did make it right by taking it off my charge and got it for me to go. So props to them. I thought our waiter was great andkind. Not a lot of sushi places in queen creek so I?d say this is a good option if you don?t want to go far. Read more

I gave it 1 star because the waitstaff was very kind. The food is terrible. If you like grocery store sushi... I'd honestly... recommend to stick with that. This place is a half step down from there for certain. I will not be returning. We got veggietempura, cherry blossom roll, and unagi nigiri. The veggie tempura wasn't tempura batter. It was onion ring/fry batter. Theirdipping sauce was far too salty, like a watered down soy sauce. The array of vegetables they choose to give was thoroughlydisappointing. It was mostly bell pepper, a scant few onions, a zucchini, some carrot, sweet potato, and broccoli. Along withextra burnt crumblings from tempura past. The cherry blossom roll was 16.50. That is a hefty price for a sushi roll. Theseaweed was chewy, the fish was poor quality and cut insanely thin. Nothing had any flavor. The eel on the inside wasn'tseasoned nor sauced in any way I could tell. The salmon skin roll showed some promise because it was crunchy.... but that wasit. No flavor. I couldn't taste the radish sprouts that were supposed to be on it and combined with cucumber, carrot, a bit ofavocado and unseasoned salmon skin it tasted like nothing. The seaweed was also chewy. The unagi nigiri was, thankfully, warmbut that was the best part about it. In order to make the eel slices bigger they give a tiny portion of rice. The sauce wasgeneric and nothing special. The eel itself was fine. They also gave us a complimentary cowl of edamame which I would praisethem for if it hadn't been cold. Read more

Great for fans of sushi, and haters of sushi! ???? I say that because I LOVE sushi, but also, the rest of their menu is so... diverse and full of creature comfort American foods, that even the pickiest eaters can find something tasty to eat here. ???? Iwill say, the place is a bit small, and it?s quite popular, being one of the few sushi places in not only Queen Creek, but SanTan Valley, AND Southeast Mesa, so it can get packed! Be prepared to wait if you have a large party, or come at a busy time, like happy hour. It would be awesome to see them expand to more locations, if that?s ever on their horizon! It?s an awesomeplace for me to get my sushi fix close to home on the far east side of the East Valley. Read more
