I think their fridge by the front counter needs some maintenance since some of the Ice cream had melted and then refroze.
Very bad customer service. Treated us like we are not supposed to go there. We ordered 3 ice creams. Ice creams are here very... old and date expired i think. Tasted like been sitting there for few years. Will not recommend someone to go there. Very upsetwith the experience. Read more
There's a reason this business still exists. Ice cream. Plain and simple Not much has changed with the store. You know what... you're getting, a great tasting product. I like the flying saucers and the Fudgie the Whale cake. They still have two for onesundaes on Wednesdays and other weekday specials. Read more
Just went to Carvel to purchase ice cream for my grandsons birthday party with my 8 month pregnant daughter and had a horrific... experience with 2 cashier girls all because we asked for our 18 ice cream cups to be placed in a box instead of a paper bag. We did not think this was a big request however, they certainly did. I will be writing the owner Paul the full detailed storybut the bottom line is they we're incredibly rude and even said comments such as these. "This really pisses me off" and "Shutthe hell up" I have never been treated this way before from any other employee there but I do suggest never to go there on aSunday afternoon! Read more
Agree with other reviewers - Carvel ice cream is always tops, but the nicest people work here, serving with a smile and it makes... it that much sweeter! Pick yourself up a cake to go (for any/no occasion! - think "Happy Wednesday to *your name here*") Thebox has a coupon for a few dollars off the next one, so you can really get yourself into a habit :) Must have good management! This is a wonderful Carvel. I have been to many and this is one of the top establishments. The people that work here are... friendly and serve ice cream with a smile. Parking outside is reasonable even during the summer time. Even if there is a line,they really are able to accommodate a lot of customers quickly. One more thing, I previously saw two separate one star reviewsabout mobile orders being canceled. This Carvel serves the actual customers who come into the store first. Get off your lazybehind and walk into the store. I?ve rarely waited and when I do it?s only a few minutes. There is an awful Coldstone Creameryin Howard Beach where they have two employees make mobile orders and one other employee serve the actual store customers. The night crew here is the WORST. They are rude, make you feel uncomfortable if you get there anytime past 9:15pm when they... close at 10pm. You can order the same thing you get when you go there and it is RARELY ever made the same way, but willdefinitely be made the fastest, rudest way possible when you go there at night.
