Very dirty Carvel location. They should not be in business. Couple who appears to be the owners look and behave as if they are... mentally disturbed. It?s a shame to see that members of my community do not have high enough standards to recognize that thisCarvel owes us quality service and products. We have kept them in business for decades in our community. If this place was ina better represented neighborhood, they would have been condemned by health officials and boycotted by the community. The service here is subzero. The server needs a well-adjusted attitude adjustment and should pick a different career. I'd drive... to baskin robins, which I'm not a fan of because of the subzero service. I wish I could give 0 stars, but it won't let ne choosethat option. Read more
The people working there have terrible customer service. They practically bark at people. I?d give them the benefit of doubt... because maybe it was a bad day but this wasn?t the first time and other reviews indicate this as well. The place is messy andthe ice cream is all jumbled up. They don?t even bother to clean the place up or make sure the labels are in the right place. Iorder on UberEats sometimes and the orders can be hit or miss if it?s correct however I don?t think I will ever go to the storeagain. It?s just not neat at all and many of the flavours are never here (maybe it?s because most people aren?t interested? Idon?t know). The one in Valley Stream is so much cleaner and better. I ordered through UberEats and they took more than an hour to prepare two shakes and a scooped ice-cream. First driver probably... got tired of waiting and canceled my order. When the order finally arrived, the pistachio ice-cream tasted like pure artificialflavoring and was a bright neon green color ????! The strawberry shake was overly sweet and could not drink it. These ice-creamstasted nothing like the pistachio/strawberry ice-creams I used to get in the Bloomfield, New Jersey location. Horrible ice-creamthat tastes nothing like Carvel. Never again ! Do not go by those stock photos. This place should give back the Carvel name. Anytime I have to ask a server to wash her... hands...I'm done. She came from outside behind me. Anyhoo I came in for the flying saucers with the crunchies. They were out ofthe butter? crunchies and strawberry ice cream. Really?! The prep and presentation was horrible. Also it didn't have that Carvelstore smell. More like a dirty mop funky smell. The store is dingy and dank like a 1980s storefront weed spot. Ruined thenostalgia for me. I love supporting my community's businesses. Not this one. Yuck. Ate one fs, threw the other two away. Icecream tasted like metal. Read more
