I purchased the shrimp platter with mixed veggies and it was yummy however, it wasn't worth the money as far as portion.
Came here late at night to grab a falafel sandwich and it was sub par. The red flag was how big their menu was. The falafels... were small and they only included about four pieces - it tasted like it was something that was picked up from the frozen aisleof the grocery store. Definitely not they?re specialty or homemade. They included fries in the sandwich but it was more likecottage fries or something rather than the classic strips. Today we sat outside and all a sudden it was pouring down rain. The server was generous enough to let us stay outside. The food... was dope, I had the Gyro Bowl. Amazing. Baklava finished off the meal was special. (And I?m diabetic). Long story short 10/10service. 10/10 food. Also, btw, price for 4 people (3 drinks, 1 app, 4 entrees, and 2 deserts) was $100 and a steal. Thanksagain for an amazing lunch. Read more
This is a hidden gem in the heart of Astoria. The vegan burger delux is a great option for vegetarians! Add some hot sauce to... make it delicious. We always order via UberEats and they always add a surcharge for asking for two sides. If you see other reviews, you see that... they upcharge for nothing very often. In the restaurant, you are allowed to pick two sides, but when you order (for the sameprice), you can only get one side?? One time, they didn't and now they are always doing this. There are much better Greekrestaurants in the neighborhood, the food can be overly greasy here. Read more
I would give these guys more stars if their delivery personnel wasn?t terrible. They take over an hour delivery for simple... orders like a salad and a beverage. When I called them the woman was no help at all just letting me know it?ll be delivered soon(25 minutes later on top of the 1+ hour of waiting). Their food as far as it goes is subpar. It isn?t necessarily authenticGreek food as their menu has fusion options such as ?kung fu plate?. Their hummus was terrible and overly greasy/oily just liketheir plates. My best bets are the baby arugula salad with falafel or chicken, the grape leaves, and their potatofries. Updated: Their menu is hit or miss. The pretzels are good, I?m a fan of their split pea soup and probably the only oneas my lentil soup had no flavor. What a gem! Really delicious Greek food- loved the flavor of everything and great prices. Lots of outdoor seating and can order... takeout as well. We did the platters and our server told us we could add two sides for a small cost. It was awesome! Read more
The last couple of times that we ordered delivery from here were not good. Ordered a medium rare burger the other day but got a... burger that was cooked on the outside but raw on the inside (like actually raw). They also didn't give us many fries either.They've definitely gone downhill from when we used to order from them before. Read more
