The best snacks I've ever had in US. As a person who grew up in Beijing, I've been desperately looking for ??? (a glutinous... snack like mochi with red bean paste filling and wrapped in soy bean powder) and ??? (a sweet dough without filling, made withbrown sugar and sesame paste). This store made my dream come true. So authentic and giving me a nostalgic feeling. Price isfair too. Cash only. Read more
I had the classic flavor. The layer wraps around is soft. Not the crunchy one.
My first and second times trying jianbing were here, and it was really great! The price at 5.50 for the basic one is right as... well! (There are meat options as well, not at all needed but could be really good too - will have to try next time). This hasbecome an essential stop on my flushing food map. Read more
Nice basic jianbing with pai char, lettuce, and cilantro filling. I didn't get to try any meat fillings, though the duck seems... to sell out fast. A solid little selection of Beijing snacks for sale like ??? and ???. They really need to change the jianbingpackaging from a paper bag to a plate. It's too hard to eat jianbing vertically. The fillings fall out, and you can't reallyhold it like a burrito because the egg layer is on the outside. Cash only, takeout only as the space doesn't have seats. Read more
I had the duck jianbing and it was meh. The duck was cold and the jianbing wasn’t very crispy. At $9.50 it was overpriced for... what I got. This is universal everywhere but a gripe of mine—why wear gloves if you are gonna handle money, wipe down counterswith towels and touch the food you are going to serve. It just makes absolutely no sense, other than just for show. Service wascordial. Read more
Good, unfussy, and inexpensive take out food. Most of the options can be easily consumed while holding it in one hand or the go.... I tried the cold noodle (it's served hot) and the meat patty. I didn't try the jian bing that everyone is raving about. Read more

Jianbing, Chinese pan fried cake, whatever you called it. It’s very good, even the vanilla version without any protein in it,... and the soy milk. Read more
