I can't pass through Forest Hills without stopping at Gloria Pizza. Whatever I'm in the mood for - a regular slice, Sicilian... slice, caprese slice, rice ball or grilled chicken and brocolli rabe hero - Gloria Pizza has never disappointed. They have manyfantastic pizza, pasta and sandwich options to chose from. Also, the staff is always courteous and friendly and that makes fora complete tremendous lunch or dinner dining experience. Discovered this place while taking a stroll in Forest Hills. The spot is clean and all of the pizza options are visibly... displayed as you walk in. You will also observe the food being made as the countertop area is transparent. However, the customerservice was horrible. The cashier was annoyed that I was paying by card and mentioned that the purchase had to be over $12 thenloudly complained about how bad cards are and that people should consider bringing along cash when they go out. I'd recommendputting someone with a more customer-friendly attitude in front to fix this. Read more

I take the train nearby here often to go to work. My boyfriend ordered pizza rolls over the phone and confirmed the price of... $2.75 each. We walked in ( I?m black he?s Hispanic), walked to the cash register, and waited a while to be acknowledged. Therewas nobody on line???? The cashier proceeded to box pizzas and ignore us. He grabbed the order and he said $8. My boyfriend saidthat?s not the price I confirmed maybe somebody told me the wrong one by mistake. He rudely said no 3.50 each. Still would notbe $8. Felt very racist, and unorganized. This is NYC there are nicer affordable places to get pizza. Definitely won?t be goingagain Read more

Sometimes, you just can't go home anymore. I remember Gloria's from Main Street. They moved to the the new location 10 years... ago. I moved to LA 8 years ago. I came expressly for my favorite Gloria's pizza since, LA pizza isn't the same. I was highlydisappointed. The crust was nothing to write home about. I miss the crisp thin crust. The pizza was kind of gummy and soggy butthe sauce was familiar. So maybe it was a hit or miss. Read more

Heaven forbid you mistakenly order from the cashier( while hes on his cell phone). He.ll rudely tell you to order from the busy... pizza maker who has his back to you. Def enjoys treating you like cr-p. Pizza was decent but there's plenty Pizza in FoHi. Read more

This is my go to spot in Forest Hills. Service is quick. The place is clean. The food is always fresh. That may be because... they?re located on Queens Boulevard next to the regal theater and there?s a major train stop at the corner of 71st Ave & QueensBoulevard. They have a great assortment of pizza and toppings, all of which are delicious. I especially enjoy their meatballhero, calzones and baked manicotti. Parking is kind of tough here in this area. But I always seem to get lucky. I?ve been herefor take out when I?m on the run but when I have the time it?s a nice place to have a meal. I even ordered delivery and was justa satisfied. I recommend this place if you like fast friendly service and good food. Read more

Ok i have always heard amazing things about Gloria's Pizza. So after the Movies oh btw I saw "Bullet Train" lol. My friend was... like omg you have got to try it. Gloria's is literally right next to the Midway theater. So we went, first I was sodisappointed there wasn't much to choose from, but I said okay I'll take that i got a slice of Grandmas. The crust didn't eventaste like pizza crust. I really wanted mushroom but they didn't have. I'm sure they would of made a slice of what ever Iwanted, but frankly it tastes much better when the pie goes in the oven the first go around with the topping already on this waythe topping really bakes in, unlike when they take an already baked regular slice tossed some mushrooms on it and pop it back inthe oven..just not the same. Obviously I can only talk about the pizza since I have had nothing else from there. I would mostlikely never get PIZZA from there again, but might try other things from their menu. So if you dont mind a small selection andnot big on a real tasting crust you may like it. Taste is subjective, but this is basic. Read more
