When I saw mofongo advertised in the window, I was curious and figured I try it. It was not what I was expecting. When I opened... the takeout dish, I knew immediately that this was not at all of what I was expecting the flavor profile of mofongo to taste andlook like. I did eat it but was confused because it was like eating beef and broccoli except that it was roast pork without rice because the mashed up plantains took the place of the rice.
