Reviews for Gun Powder Cafe in Queens, NY

I should've known better than to order from this restaurant, given their cutsie names for Indian favorites. We ordered samosa... "samurai", "spinach and cottage cheese green pastures" (WTH?), "Chickpea classic", butter chicken Peshawari, "railway" lambcurry, and a naan. If McDonald's served Indian food, this is what I would expect from them. Bland, uninspired, forgettable, butedible. I'll give them that. That's my impression of our first (and last) meal from this mediocre-at-best restaurant. Oh, andone more thing. My friend said the plain white rice tasted like Minute Rice! The food is so good. They give you a good portion. I would recommend this place.

That was bad… worst food, could not reach the restaurant… I finally did through the delivery driver and they did not send... stuff I requested. It is inedible and I had to throw away and ordered Thai instead. Nan was doughy and had a smell… chickenticka masalawas in a insipid sauce that had a smell of some bad oil.
